Hyndsight Optician

I visited here just the other week, having not been to an optician in nearly 6 years (where Specsavers misdiagnosed me and got me to buy prescription glasses, which it turns out, I've never needed them) and then 9 years prior to that.The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. The optician was very thorough - he spends plenty of time checking eye health and ability, leaving no stone unturned. The service was top class. My Parents both recommended the service to me - and I can understand why, as he won't prescribe glasses, unless you truly need them. I will definitely be returning here and I can highly recommend.

Hyndsight saved the day when my mum who is 95 and in poor health lost her glasses, I telephoned my mum’s optician for a replacement pair, they said as the prescription was expired my mum would need an eye test, when I explained that I would organise that but wanted a pair meantime to cover Christmas, they said even if they could do that , that no optician would be able to get them done until the New Year, even though I explained my mum might not be alive n the New Year. I phoned my opticians Hyndsight and explained the situation and what my mum’s opticians (Black and Lizars Paisley ) has said, Debbie, the super helpful woman on reception said ‘Oh for goodness sake’, she spoke to the Optician, told me to get a copy of my mum’s prescription and they would get a pair made in a few days. My mum who has dementia received her glasses in time for her Christmas Party at Erskine Care Home. Hyndsight saved the day and I thank them for their ‘can do’ attitude, they’re all good elves.

Cannot recommend highly enough. Staff were brilliant.I had an issue with my glasses. They raised it with the manufacturer and provided a replacement free of charge .Thank you so much .Really appreciate the help and support I received

I've been using Hyndsight for some years now and even though I no longer live in the city, it's worth the journey to ensure good service from someone you trust to look after your eyes.
