Wedding Dress Alterations Wembley

Sophia was wonderful. I am so pleased that my daughter chose her to design and make her wedding dress.We had visited several shops all of which stocked mainly the usual strapless designs which my daughter quite rightly did not want as these did not suit her.Sophia designed exactly what was in the bride's mind and even helped her to find a beautiful lace for the sleeves and bodice. The dress unusually had very useful pockets as a special design feature.Sophia’s studio is very close to a tube and train station which was helpful as neither of us was able to drive to N.W. London for the fittings. I would unhesitatingly recommend Sophia. The dress fitted perfectly and received so many compliments on my daughter’s big day.

Sophia is AMAZING!!!  She made a bespoke costume piece for me.  As I had seen her work on Instagram and on her website, I knew she was the Designer/Seamstress for me.  She understood my brief 100%.  She took my measurements virtually which with her directions was super easy to follow.  My first fitting was fab - the piece fitted perfectly and all her fabric and embellishment suggestions were spot on.  Her vision and creativity is exemplary.  Whenever I look at the piece - I still can't believe I have it.  It is everything I wanted.  Sophia is warm and lovely with bundles of creativity and talent.  I thoroughly recommend her and will be back in touch with her in future.  Thank you Sophia xoxo

I would highly recommend Sophia to take care of your alterations! I had a bit of a complex dress that I needed hemmed and she went above and beyond to come up with the best solution and it looks amazing! She also let me request to get alterations on a second dress. She did an absolutely amazing job and was really great to work with. Could not recommend her more.

I found Sophia through a Google search for local seamstresses and was so glad I did! Sophia is lovely and professional and responds to queries quickly. She has a cute little studio with plenty of parking nearby and she held on to my dress until just before my wedding so I didn't have to hide a huge dress in my flat for too long. She's done an amazing job of altering my wedding dress, I cant wait to wear it! I cant thank her enough.

I took two dresses to Sophia - my white wedding dress, and a traditional Chinese Qipao for an evening banquet - for alteration.Service - great. Clear communication and agreed pricing in advance, friendly and actively listening during the consultation to understand the ask, quick turnaround time and Sophia even made a matching mask for my dress. Sophia has her own workshop (which fyi is like a treasure trove if you’re into crafts), and there is lots of parking. So if getting there by car, it’s very convenient.Quality - couldn’t expect more. When looking at the dress - alterations were made at the seams so any changes were seamless and in keeping with the white dress. My red dress was quite a bit more challenging as the lining and lace were attached, but even then the alterations to the dress made it look like they were intentional. Sophia’s handy work is really good.Would recommend Sophia to any discerning brides, I’ll definitely be reaching out to her again in the future, and have also recommended her to my sister in law. Sophia is amazing. She took my DB wedding dress and made it unique with the perfect changes in length and neckline. I cannot thank her enough. I got in touch with Sophia to make alterations to a dress I purchased from a store. Sophia was very professional in suggesting alterations to suit my budget ! In addition to the length adjustments which had multiply layers I had some lace sleeves added ,not only did Sophia source the perfect lace but also added the sleeves seamlessly which fitted the overall style of the dress.No one could believe that the sleeves were not part of the original dress!I would so have loved Sophia to have created the dress for my big day ! She has a true passion for bridal-wear and some fantastic ideas! X
