I had the initial consultation followed by EVLA and a few sessions of foam sclerotherapy. The EVLA procedure wasn't too bad and I would describe it as mildly uncomfortable at worst. My veins improved 70% after the first round of treatment. I have had another few sessions of foam and my veins are improving even more (85%) and have been told they will disappear completely within a few months. I am happy with the treatment, Dr Krishnan (and nurses) are excellent and make you feel very comfortable through out the process.

I have recently finished my treatment here - I had a great experience, and am delighted with the results.All the staff are friendly and welcoming. Dr Previn Diwakar and Nurse Julie were very professional, yet created a relaxed atmosphere, helping to allay my anxiety!The procedures themselves were clearly explained and virtually pain free.I would highly recommend the Veincentre Manchester.

I can already see a huge difference in the appearance of my legs, the whole process was well explained, minimal pain and discomfort both during and after treatments. After feeling self conscious about my varicose veins for most of my 20s I contacted the vein centre to get rid of my varicose veins. The website was easy to answer a lot of questions I had prior to my first appointment. Making the appointment and subsequent survey was easy and minus some discomfort during the procedure and heavy legs for a few days after, I haven’t had any issues and my varicose veins already look 100 times better. The staff team were really friendly and even gave me a badge for being brave at the vein centre! I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of getting their varicose veins removed. It was just a couple of afternoonst off work with time to go for lunch after!

Update after 4 months:The procedure was effective in greatly reducing the veins, about 80% gone now. Some areas are still slightly hard and lumpy but they seem to be slowly disappearing over time. I'm happy with the results and feel it was a worthwhile thing to do. I did get some bad pain in the thighs for a few weeks after, but found taking Ibuprofen pain killers almost completely stops that pain.If you're thinking about getting this done, I'd totally recommend it. But as the doctor will tell you, it takes a few months to see the results.Initial review:Dr Ananth Krishnan and his nice assistant Helen did a fantastic job, both during the initial consultation and the procedure. They acted professionally but were also relaxed, friendly and down to earth people.The clinic is clean and pleasant in general and the receptionist also very friendly.The only suggestion I can think for improvement would be to have a TV in the room so you could watch something to keep your mind off the few uncomfortable moments of the procedure. However I actually found it quite interesting to watch what he was doing.The only uncomfortable parts were the injections, but really nothing to worry about.The prices are clearly given on the website and well below other clinics, so that's another good point.I can't comment on how effective the treatment was because it takes a few weeks to take full effect, but I can already feel an improvement just a few hours afterwards. I can’t share high enough praise for Veincentre, Dr Previn Diwakar and the whole team. From my initial consultation everything was handled promptly, professionally and with a warm, welcoming human touch to what normally can be normally a very cold, clinical experience.At my initial consultation I met Dr Diwakar and his assistant, who welcomed me and performed the necessary diagnostic tests whilst all the time being professional but with a casual conversational manner that very much made me feel relaxed about the consultation. I had very visible and significant varicose veins which looked horrendous. However, my main motivation for treatment was the vein was making my ankle swell if I walked more than 10 minutes and would cause me significance pain when trying to play any sport. Dr Diwakar then talked me through the recommended treatment process clearly and concisely that left me feeling confident that this was the curse of treatment and that I could place my faith in Dr Diwakar, his assistants and veincentre.The treatment itself was organised promptly for a few weeks time. I arrived for my treatment again with the same welcoming and professional manner. The treatment itself (which included a foam sclerotherapy and avulsions) was an absolute breeze. Absolutely zero pain from the procedure itself, I only felt minor discomfort from the administration of the anaesthesia. Dr Diwakar and the team were always checking to make sure I was comfortable and were very attentive to any needs I had. Once the procedure was over, I was throughly looked after and Dr Diwakar talked me through the recovery process.I returned for my post procedure check up after 8 weeks and the procedure has been a roaring success. Aesthetically my leg looks brand new, with zero evidence that a varicose vein ever existed (and mine were severe and significant). From a fitness perspective my leg feels like they’ve fitted a bionic one! My porting performance has increased 10 fold. It ended up being a very short appointment with no further treatment needed. Overall I can’t praise Veincentre in particular Dr Diwakar and his assistants enough. They were excellent in every measure, and were thoroughly pleasant people to talk to. My only regret is not having a reason to go back and have a chat, throughly pleasant and professional people who I hold with the highest regard.

I recently underwent treatment in my right leg (for varicose veins) at the Vein Centre in Manchester and have been very pleased with the results. The treatment has really reduced the appearance of the varicose veins which was something I had grown increasingly self conscious about.The treatment delivered by Dr Previn Diwakar & Julie Woof was first class. I was made to feel at ease throughout each visit. The treatment itself was only mildly uncomfortable at times (but bearable) and in terms of the weeks that followed the treatment, that too was absolutely fine. I didn't feel the need to take any painkillers whatsoever and my leg has already healed up very well, just six weeks later, with no signs of staining or anything like that.I'll add some photos later once my leg has full healed.
