I have placed two orders with Andy and his work is exceptional. Customer interaction is superb. As an international customer I had concerns about shipping and timing, Andy alleviates all of those concerns. Delivery is fast and reliable. Working with him on orders is like working with a friend. I can't recommend his knives more highly. I am sure I will order again. My trip to Scotland was postponed last year, and I can't wait to get an opportunity in the future to visit his shop.

Been looking for a specialist to make me some custom flick knives for a while now. I actually found Andy by mistake, but turned out to be the best mistake I made.They knives came back much better than I thought and I’ll be definitely ordering again. If your thinking about getting a custom, don’t think just do it, you won’t regret it.

Words are not enough to describe the EXCELLENT workmanship and customer service provided. I ordered a custom sgian dubh, and every detail was perfectly fulfilled in the finished product. Extremely pleased with the customization process and the direct communication to ensure that the design was exactly what I wanted. I was also amazed at how quickly it was made and shipped. Ordered a bespoke sgian dubh for my Fiancé for our wedding to wear with his kilt and cut the cake. The plan was to gift it to him the night before, but the work was so beautiful I didn't have the patience to wait! Needless to say he loved it!

My Sgian Dubh arrived today. It was packaged beautifully, but knot as beautiful as the knife itself. I have been chomping at the bit waiting to see my new Sgian Dubh. The wait was worth it! Andy is an artist. My knife is very well made, the quality is amazing, and it is shaving sharp. I don’t know what else to say, but thank you Andy!

The Sloyd arrived today, just as promised and really well packaged.It's just as requested, but better! The weight and balance are ideal and the beautifully figured elm handle is perfectly sized. I love the contrast of the polished and matte finish requested on the blade. And it's sharp, super sharp, right out of the well packaged box. Finally, the leather sheath looks great, fits really well and is going to provide top protection for my precious new bladeThanks for your exceptional service Andy, I'll be buying from you again!

Got a custom made sgian dubh for my wedding anniversary. An absolutely gorgeous piece of work, completely thrilled with it. I've had standard sgian dubhs so far, and this blows it away in terms of craftsmanship. Great weight to the hand, sharpness and carved handle. Sheath is also excellent quality. Thanks very much!!
