Alin came recommended to us by a friend who he had also installed their flooring.His knowledge was fantastic. He was honest, upfront, and gave advise and recommendations based on his experience. Alin was present and closely oversaw the work. He was highly responsive and in touch throughout the process. I engaged Alin and the team at FinWood to carry out repairs, then sand and oil a large area of parquet and wooden flooring in my house. They were great to deal with during the initial visit, suggesting several improvements, such as creating an integrated doormat, which I wouldn’t have thought of. I have extremely high standards and couldn’t find a single issue with the work they did, it was impeccable. I would have no hesitation in recommending them for any work related to wooden floors. They really are experts in this field.

Alin and Constantine did a wonderful job installing our new wooden floor. Their attention to detail was exceptional, and they were efficient, polite and tidy. Alin was really good at communicating at all stages of the project. We would definitely use them again.

This was the second time that Fin Wood Ltd had done work for me. The quality of workmanship (and pride taken in a job well done) were outstanding. Alin and his team are experts, hard working and committed and I have complete confidence in them personally and professionally. I had no hesitation in leaving them in my property while I went to work. The standard of work was excellent. They tidied meticulously. They moved heavy furniture and removed unwanted carpets that were replaced by the new floor. I warmly recommend them.

This is the second time I’ve used Fin Wood. On both occasions - (2021) sub-floor replacement, and laying engineered boards, and (2023) re-oiling parquet blocks - Alin provided timely, comprehensive and transparent quotations. Once work commenced they were punctual, polite, and completed the jobs to the timescales provided. The finished results look and feel great, and I would have no hesitation in recommending or using Alin and his team of skilled professionals again.
