Flaxlands Fishery
Well looked after fishery with 2 lakes, 1 with an island which can also be fished from. Onside toilets and tea/coffee and refreshments available. Assorted bait available. Ample parking. All in all a very pleasant days fishing. Arrive, find a peg, then return to the kiosk to pay and pre order a butty which is delivered to you from about 10ish. Plenty of Single and double pegs available.

We stopped overnight here - lovely CL. Great views and loads of wildlife. They've done an amazing job. you can here the motorway but you can filter the noise out and it's worth it!

Lovely lakes to fish at. There are two lakes and one with an island in which you can fish off. They prefer cash but there is a card machine it’s just a bit unreliable! It’s £9 for one rod £10 for two. It’s a beautiful location with Canada geese and herons. Only downside is the sound of the motorway nearby. Some people were camping there so that is an option. There are also toilets available. The women who served us was very nice and helpful and even offered us a tent from their charity box as it was raining. Would definitely recommend this place and we will be back on a sunnier day!

One of my favourite venues for fishing in Wiltshire. Well kept fishery. Mainly carp, but also bream, roach, chub and tench.Where else can you get a bacon roll & coffee delivered to your peg. Highly recommended.

Flaxlands Fishery
Fishery offers a peaceful and relaxing environment for a day of fishing. The experience is enjoyable and worthwhile. The lake is small but well-maintained, and there is a decent variety of fish to catch. The staff are knowledgeable and can provide you with tips and advice on how to make the most of your fishing experience. While Fishery does not offer accommodation, it's a great option for a day trip. The day ticket experience is affordable and convenient, making it accessible to many. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the lake is well-stocked with fish for you to catch.Overall, fishery is a good option for anyone looking for a simple and laid-back fishing experience for a day. While you can't keep your fish, the lake is well-maintained and offers a decent variety of fish to catch. The day ticket experience is affordable and convenient, making it a great option for a quick and easy fishing trip.

What a gem. We booked an overnight stay with our caravan (it's a CL site with CAMC) on our way to Wales and immediately thought we should have stayed longer. As a caravan site, it is so nice, as a fishing venue, it is brilliant. Ruth was very accommodating and pleasant. The trees, and especially the gunnerea, were beautiful.Well worth a visit
