Went at 12.30pm on a Tuesday staff in the downstairs bar said it was open so to go on up. Went up it was closed, came down she said it was actually open at 1pm. Came back at 2.30pm went up the lift again... it was closed. Manager said that the times were on the Internet. However we suggested 2 members of staff didn't know the opening times. Was also not open to U18s in the day. Which they didn't tell us to the 2nd visit. It seems a bit unorganised, would not try again...

We had a wonderful experience at Becketts. Fabulous views (the best in the city), service was amazing and I would highly recommend their cocktails. It was little bit windy but we were given cosy blankets so we could enjoy our drinks with beautiful views outside.

Without a doubt this place has the potential for the 'wow' factor with such an amazing view across the cathedral. The reality is however that they are not making the most of their USP - The rooftop itself!. We went on a Friday evening at around 6.30pm. It was dry and clear. We would have loved to have sat out on the rooftop, but although the chillout music was playing and the lights were on outside, there were no blankets and no heaters so unless you wanted to sit out there with a hot chocolate, you had no choice but to have a drink inside. What a complete waste of such a great location!... So having decided to have a drink inside, we were confronted with a wall of curtains preventing you seeing the view! On the plus side, the cocktails were well prepared and service very good. More of a special occasion place as cocktails around £12 a shot, but it could be so much more if they could make it more comfortable on the rooftop. My only gripe... a 12% surcharge on a drinks bill which I think is a bit much when prices are high-end to start with. Why not leave the customer to reward good service! This is a 'nice' place, but could be a 'great' place with some thought...

We came here for some drinks for my dads 74th Birthday. Katija, who served us was super attentive and prepared our cocktails which were insane! Also took a photo of us all as it's very rare we met up.The location is great but the warm, friendly service we had was the best we had in Exeter! Thanks!!

Dreadful experience. The bar wasn’t even half full and yet the staff were unable to deal with the amount of customers. After 10 minutes our order was taken, after another 35 minutes, no drinks had arrived so we left. Staff could not have been less bothered. One star given as unable to give no star!

We stayed at the Indigo hotel and went up to the roof top bar for pre dinner cocktails. The view was amazing, the cocktails were perfection and the service was fantastic! Vincent went above and beyond for us, talking through the menu and making recommendations, even making us off menu cocktails. After dinner we strolled around the city checking out the other bars but ended up going back up to Becketts because it was such a great vibe!We can’t wait to come back when it’s nicer weather to sit outside and enjoy that incredible view!

Came here with my mrs for our anniversary had amazing cocktails. Super clean new aesthetic with experienced staff.Nice music playing, good vibes, overall quality location for some drinks with a view.

Trying to pass itself off as a high end venue but let down by the poor standard of service from the staff. We went in on a very quite Thursday evening, waited over 20 minutes for 2 drinks before a member of staff approached us to see if our order had been taken. After giving the waiter our order 2 more times, they eventaully came out 5 minutes later with completley the wrong drinks!!! At which point we sent them back and left. When paying premium prices people expect a premium service. This is something that the staff here do not seem to understand.
