Build A Bond dog training and Walking

Would absolutely recommend Build-a-Bond for any puppy owners. We attended the 4 week puppy training course at the Meadow Lane facility which was led by Adrian and with the help of 2 colleagues. The sessions weren’t crowded but there were enough other dogs to make it a fun group activity with lots of socialisation for the pups. We learnt lots of skills that we practiced and then were prompted to practice at home. Once done, we would have an opportunity to ask any further questions or discuss any challenges we had the next week and Adrian and his team would offer more solutions.Following the class, which both us as owners and our puppy loved, there were a couple of areas we still wanted a little extra support on and felt a 1-2-1 session would be the best option. Emily came out to our home and asked us where else we would like to train. She witnessed first hand some of the concerns we had, and using her knowledge and expertise, suggested some areas to improve and showed us how and let us try whilst offering feedback for us as owners. These techniques have been excellent with our puppy now behaving so well with these initial concerns.As mentioned, we would absolutely recommend Build-a-Bond to any puppy owners looking for extra support. Whether that be the puppy classes or 1-2-1 sessions, we loved and really benefitted from both. Thanks to all at Build-a-Bond!

Just finished the 5-week puppy course at build a bond, fantastic experience for our new puppy. Every session was good fun and good learning for both us and our new pup! Build a Bond Dog Training is a great company for anyone looking for some additional support for their dog. The courses they offer alongside the 121 training and training walks are exceptional and they allow you to get the help you need for your dog.I personally used the 121 training and the training walks and they were so useful for my reactive dog. We were able to get the practical experience we needed to train him in a controlled environment.

Before we came to build a bond our 5 year old rescue dog, Ghost, was extremely reactive around other dogs and very nervous around new people. One week into having him we knew we needed the very best to help us with his training.Adrian's training methods are positive and effective. He made the whole process fun and enjoyable for both Ghost and myself. He was able to answer all of my questions and give options for the best way forward. He even visited our home and gave me daily exercises to do at home, which helped Ghost. These tips shortened our learning curve and has helped me take ghosts behaviour to the next level in the shortest possible time.Thanks to Adrian, Ghost is now able to go for walks without reacting aggressively. He is also able to welcome visitors into the home without anxiety.I cannot recommend Adrian and Build a Bond Dog Training Company enough. If you're looking for a knowledgeable and friendly trainer who truly cares about your dog's well-being, look no further than Adrian!

We were very unsure about investing in trainers for our GSD, but the pulling became to much to hold on to her, to a point of it being dangerous. She was becoming more reactive also. However, it was the best thing we ever did. The trainers we had, Fiona and Adrian, did a fantastic job with her. She is less reactive and is able to join in on group walks. I can also hold her and have a relaxing walk with her now. Its something I only dreamt of! The prices are also very very fair. THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS!

Our dog has been going to build a bond for some months now and it has been really good. From training daycare with videos and updates, working on specific needs and grooming - we’ve had a very reliable and high value service from the team. We are also members so get to attend regular training sessions which is a great experience for our pup (1yo) who can be leash reactive and really benefits from the environment with fewer dogs and a good trainer to dog ratio. The whole team is amazing. I also really value how they’ve arranged their space to accommodate dogs who need quiet time too and that they go on regular walks outdoors. It’s honestly been brilliant and I highly recommend it.

Having not had a dog for many years we decided to get a puppy!! And quickly realised we all needed some structure & help!!We joined Build a Bond Cotgrave group Puppy Classes at 4 months old giving us an excellent start to training and socialization. Recently at 6 months we needed extra help with meeting other dogs, jumping up, not pulling and being confident enough to let him off the lead, Fiona was brilliant at training us, as well as him! for 1:1 Puppy Training which we highly recommend. We've also joined the Saturday outdoor class recently in Cropwell Bishop to continue his socialization.It doesn't happen overnight, but if your dog is strong in mind & body and you need help in social situations, and want a well behaved & trained dog then Build a Bond dog training has it all in a very calm and easy to follow way. Highly recommend and hugely grateful

The groomer, Boc, is brilliant with my cockapoo and he always comes out looking smart and smelling great. I would definitely recommend!

From start, the welcome and explanation of the services was excellent - shown around the whole facility which was clean and inviting for our dog. The assessment session went really well and from there we were able to download an app to help book in regular sessions. Drop off and pick up go really well and there is plenty of interaction for the dogs. Walks included and Charlie seems really happy to go. Have already noticed a difference in his social interaction with other dogs. On site shop for the usual dog leads, harnesses & toys.Would highly recommend anyone looking for a regular day care for their dog as they are very well looked after.Sessions are available for training and would recommend joining as a member to get exclusive discounts.Great staff, great facilities - fantastic set up - Thank you

As first-time dog owners, we wanted a bit of guidance to get off on the right foot and set our pup up for success. We started last year with the three-lesson puppy package that Build A Bond offered. This was good value and helped build our confidence with training at home and gave us the skills to progress after our lessons had finished.When he was old enough we then booked onto the 5-week puppy class held at Cotgrave Church. As well as both us and our dog continuing to learn new skills, it was a great opportunity to meet other owners and for the dogs to socialise in a controlled environment. Being on a learning curve myself as an owner this was valuable experience.This is something we have carried forward into membership at the new daycare centre. Adrian and his team have done a great job putting this place together, and as with the previous classes we've had with Build a Bond, the drop-in sessions have been relaxed, friendly, and very worthwhile. With everything that is included in the membership price, I consider it represents good value for money, and again, learning how dogs of different ages and sizes behave together in a safe controlled environment with expert supervision has been a good learning experience for me and great fun for my dog.I would definitely recommend any aspect of the services offered, including the pet sitting services which we have also taken advantage of on a couple of occasions and been very happy with.
