Absolutely awful. My buyer is using their services and they do not respond to emails, or phone calls in a timely manor.Unprofessional and rude, based on conversations that I have had with my estate agent.If you want your property selling or your dream home purchases in a timely manor. Look elsewhere.

We cannot thank Nelsons enough for their conveyancing service and how the team worked tirelessly on a very difficult sales and onward purchase case through no fault of our own. I am especially impressed with Catherine Griffiths who handled our case exceptionally well and the additional help from Rachel Maxwell. They are responsive, kind, patient, knowledgeable and very professional. I wish there were more words to express our gratitude as we are only able to finish off an extremely stressful process and complete the move as planned because of their hard work. Thank you so much and I really cannot recommend them more highly to anyone.

Been using Nelsons since January 2022. Outstanding service throughout, firstly following my dear Mums death Helen Salisbury worked exceptionally hard dealing with the whole estate which took over a year to complete. Amazingly efficient, helpful & friendly throughout!Secondly, Catherine Griffiths dealt with the Conveyancing throughout the sale process of Mums property & also just completed the purchase of a bungalow for myself. She has also been wonderful, so efficient & helpful & the knowledge both Helen & Catherine provided has been brilliant. Huge thanks to both.Perhaps not the cheapest of Solicitors but can't fault the service at all, you get what you pay for !Would always recommend Nelsons !

I contacted Melanie Bridgen from Nelsons Solicitors in Derby for advice in child arrangement. Her knowledge was more than I could ask for. She helped me through every concern I had and with her colleague Melanie Theakstone put together my wishes, contacted my ex, made sure that everything I legally wanted it was written down as clear for the court application as possible. They followed my case through CAFCASS and the final court order. Mrs. Bridgen had straight questions, and answers to everything. They took the process of my shoulder, and in 2 months I have received the final order from court (with Christmas included). I cannot be more thankful for their job and knowledge.

Do not use this firm for family law. They are heartless. Hanna Bridgwood, Emma Davies, Emma Stamp. Be warned. Such lengthy response times leaving you highly stressed and worried. They Justify this by telling you that they are busy in court and adhoc sickness in the firm. Hannah never did reply to an email sent to her. It was a month later when I decided to complain. The head of department didn't do a great deal to help matters.I've wasted fees where I could have gone elsewhere and probably had benefited from help/ advice needed. Please please do your research beforehand.
