Gavin is a true gentleman and plumber Neil is one of the best I have come across. We had some challenging plumbing issues but the installation went so smoothly, massive guarantee means we have peace of mind for many years to come. I would recommend without any hesitation whatsoever (and I am not always easy to please when it comes to tradespeople). Well done!

I had a pleasure of dealing with Gavin Boakes a month ago. One of the first things thing that I had on my to do list was to get a water softener installed due to the poor quality/extremely hard water running down my taps. My search began and I went to the most obvious one that popped up on Google search engine the big “H” at the same time I was also recommended to Gavin and his company by someone. I ended up having back to back meetings with both of them and I can confirm there was a start difference in the way things were explained to me. Gavin was very patient with a complete novice like me and went through the whole installation process compared to the bloke earlier who was very pushy and was clearly a salesman and didn’t understand plumbing. Genuinely nice guy and is only a phone call away to answer and questions. I would recommend Thames Valley Softener any day.

Excellent service and extremely friendly. I'd looked at other companies for water softeners and was appalled at the pushy and forceful sales approach. Gavin was extremely open and honest and I never felt pushed into buying from him. Given the hardness of the water in the area a water softener is a must have if you want to stop the limescale destroying everything. What an amazing company!! Such a rare experience whereby Gavin took his own time out to offer advice on whether or not to service by old softener. He didn't try and upsell, just good honest advice. I won't even hesitate to use this company when I need to replace my machine.
