Wonderful cocktails. Staff were very corteous. We also had dinner, the fetuccini carbonara and the Philly cheese steak pizza were fantastic. The mac and cheese were good. Will come back!

Been here a good few times now and never been disappointed! The pizzas are incredible, but probably wouldn't recommend one each if you're having drinks too, as they are HUGE and very filling!! Cocktail menu is great, they do 2-4-1 all day! Personally would recommend the watermelon sugar high cocktail, especially on a summer day!

Food was nice. However we did book in advance and they gave up a table with very high chairs right next to the kitchen so was very loud. 3/6 of our guests are short and struggled with the seats and when asked if we could be reseated they said no that they were going to fill up. The waiter forgot the water and forgot the garlic dips. We ate but after our meal there was still two booths free we could have easily used. The cocktails BOGOF offer was good. Be warned prices on menu do not include VAT and you will have 20% VAT added on when you pay the bill. This could be a problem if you are on a budget. The menu really should show the full price of what you are ordering and not doing so isn’t very transparent. Would probably visit again but would book a booth to be more comfortable.

The music is very and unexpectedly loud. I don’t think the reviews or information about this place reflect that it is closer to a bar or club then to restaurant/cafe where you can talk while eating. Food is okay and stuff is friendly, but it would be great if more precise clear information about the music and concept of this place was added. This level of noise is something you should be prepared for it really is like you are in a club

The music is aimed at a late 40’s hen-do, but I can let a bit of Spice Girls slide. It’s conveniently located on the walk from the Station to St James Park. Pizzas are served quickly and it’s easy to get a table, so you can pop in for a bite on your way into town.I didn’t like the Heat and meat pizza as the chicken was dry and roasted red onions aren’t my fave. The fig and blue cheese pizza was a taste sensation. The neapolitan pizzas are well-spotted on the base, thin and floppy in the traditional style. The sauce is tasty too, however the crust is a bit dense and not puffy, so it isn’t top tier. If burrata is your thing, the deep fried burrata is great, however the focaccia was disappointing as it’s a bit dry and flavourless. The service was good, 2 for 1 cocktails are a nice perk and it had a really chic and Instagrammable design.

Had a table of 11 booked at last minute which was no issue.Food was delicious and arrived quickly and hot. Kids loved their pizzas.Cocktails good and price was reasonable and in line with most city centre restaurants. Will definitely go back when back in the City

Stopped off for food and refreshment as I needed to pass a couple of hours before catching a flight. Perhaps I should have chosen somewhere less ‘hip’. The food was average. The calamari starter was itself okay but the accompanying rocket leaves were limp to say the least. Unfortunately my starter arrived at exactly the same time as the main course which wasn’t ideal. I had the steak for a main. The meat was well cooked, good texture and taste. It was however plastered in an unpleasant string cheesy flavoured sauce of strange consistency.Poor choice of beers / ales. No draught real ales. Atmosphere more that if a student union bar than an upscale cocktail bar and restaurant. I’m sure the youngsters like it but for me the food was below par given the price paid.

We came on a Thursday and the staff were really kind and attentive and we were served quickly. We had the margarita pizza and carbonara, and they were both really nice. The food was reasonably priced and there was a huge selection of cocktails and other alcoholic drinks. Would definitely visit again when back in Newcastle.

Had a lovely afternoon tea here, the food was fantastic and there was plenty of it!! We went on a voucher so can't comment on price, but it was more than worth what we paid. The venue looks great. Service was a bit slow and music a bit loud, but overall a fab place to eat and catch up with friends.
