Gurnard Village Green Playground
Kids loved the playground here. Whether climbing on the pirate ship or using swings/slides it all seemed to go down well. The playground is enclosed so no need to worry about small wanderers. Nice surroundings and parking nearby.

Needs to have lockable gates on and age restrictions, whole visiting here a group of 5 teenagers came in swinging really high on the swing all together throwing water around, also my sisters autistic grandson managedTo open the gate as they are easy to open and ended up by the water

Possibly the most northerly playground on the Isle of Wight.I'm sure that if I was 7 then this would be a fun place to come. As it is, I'm a bit older and I walked past. It was an enjoyable walk.

Gurnard Village Green Playground
Nice to finally see this area close up after seeing it from the ferry into Cowes enough times. If you've got a couple of hours spare either before or after getting the ferry then take the Floating Bridge from East Cowes to Cowes and then have a walk up the Esplanade. It's nice and chilled out especially when the sea is calm.
