I cannot believe the last review !! This person has clearly not met the owner of Pistachio’s , as he would know how truly proud he is of being Iranian. I have been many times and the Persian food is the best outside of Iran. The charcoal meats are tender and well marinated and the stews authentic and tasty. The servers are Iranian the music is Iranian !! I truly don’t know what this person is talking about.I recommend this restaurant to anyone who has not had the pleasure of Persian cuisine and know that you will return !

What a great find! From the moment you walk in the staff make your visit thoroughly enjoyable.Friendly, efficient service with a relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious; a blend of delicious flavours.I had percian prawn starter and chicken saffron stew with roast aubergines main. Great portions. Is now top of my list of favourite restaurants in Nottingham.

My friend and I visited yesterday and had an excellent experience. We had 3 courses all of which were amazing, especially the baklava, and everything came in huge portions so it's well worth the money.The host (who I assume is the owner) was so friendly and attentive and took the time to chat with people despite the restaurant being full.We will definitely come back and I highly recommend visiting!

Now, this is it. I felt like family, a warm hug of familiarity as I was greeted by the staff and the spices as you come through the door. Soul food is sold as the deep south, but this Persian feast brought a new meaning to the term.From the staff to the food, the atmosphere was charming. Attentive yet respectful servers talked us through their favourites. We both picked stew, it was hearty and felt like a labour of love. Something passed down from generations and refined each time - perfectly balanced in pomegranate sweetness and sour spitces.It was a brilliant experience and one we cannot wait to come back for! A real treasure just along from Sneinton Market. Thanks guys for a wonderful evening!

My pops told us about Pistachio a good while ago, only just got around to going. So glad we did.We had a lamb stew & saffron rice, with four dips and bread to share between two of us. Everything was absolutely mouth-wateringly good! The lamb was sooooo tender, the feta dip wildly delicious. Will make regular customers of us.

Can't recommend this place enough! The food is fantastic and we received probably the best treatment and service since the minute we arrived until we left. Special thanks to Faroch for the attention with us and our requests. Strongly recommend getting a selection of dips with the Persian bread as started , and the stews were really good as well!

A group of six of us came here last night. It was a spur of the moment meal.The good here is excellent, subtly flavoured, and very rich. The meat was excellently tender.We were all quite impressed, I as a meat eater thorougly enjoyed the food, just as my vegan friends did.The service was also superb. The waiting staff were attentive without a hint of hovering.We were all in all quite impressed. I'm sure we will be back.

Wonderful food. Amazing taste and quality. Cooked to perfection. It's also very filling if you're worried about portions. Great options for vegetarians too.

Their olives with walnut are sooo good! Halloumni is delicious! Nice service, friendly stuff.Highly recommended if you are looking for something different and calm atmospher
