Fitted Drain channel on 24th Aug 20, it did not take the water away Thomas said he would return to do the job the way i asked for in the first place, IE connect to drain pipe, it now 5th Sept 20 and after many efforts he still has not returned to fix the problem and also left his rubbish in my drive.

Would not recommend JB Paving & Building due to unprofessionalism. Included in the price of a driveway was the inclusion of a set of wooden gates This didn't happen. Two weeks have passed. Communication has been difficult. Initial excuse was the chippy had made them too small. No visual evidence of the gates. Contacting them included further excuses of two funerals within in a week. Not to be trusted.

Very disappointed with the company. Their assurances and worthless. I've had no end of excuses and unreturned calls. This is a cowboy firm, do not deal with them. They admitted to me that they do not have the public liability insurance required by law (as if this was a valid excuse). They should not be trading.

Sunken block paving around manhole covers. Drain blocked with hardcore. I have been asking them to repair since Sep 2019 work was under guarantee but unfortunately they have let us down, made promises to show up but didn't, now they never call back. Very disappointed.

Driveway overlay completed 10 months ago. The price was good, arrived on time and worked well. The problem is, after the winter the whole driveway is crumbling and lifting and now we get no response from this company. We have phoned, emailed and written to them, but they are simply not bothered now they have taken our money.

Thomas and his team did an excellent job removing rotten decking and replacing with block paving. They were polite and couldn’t do enough to ensure I was happy with the finished result. Would recommend anytime

JB Paving gave us a competitive quote for gravelling our drive and were given the job because of Thomas’s apparent credibility and good references. The job was done well but grossly underestimated so that the final bill was twice the original quote. I don’t dispute the final bill but they got the job on the basis of the original quote. I could have got the same job done cheaper by someone else. Also, a concrete step they built became loose and dangerous after a few months. I have given up chasing them. They never respond except with promises they do not honour. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Do not deal with this company. The work they carried out for me earlier this year, which included repointing a patio was very poor. All the pointing has failed and is breaking up, and it's not even winter. It will all need doing again. Avoid at all costs. They promise the earth and deliver nothing.
