Incredibly authentic food and amazing service. You truly get transported to Sicily. We enjoyed everything we ate! The pistachio tiramisu is a dessert I will dream about.Beyond that, the staff/owners are the best. Some of the best service we’ve ever had - they treat you as if you are family. They clearly care about the food they make and people they serve. We will definitely be back.

We visited Vulcano Etna in Colchester on a dreary Sunday in December and it didn’t disappoint. We received a really warm welcome and the food was absolutely delicious. The 3 of us had paninis, pasta, arancini, tiramisu, canolli and capuccinos. It was reasonably priced too. If you want an authentic Sicilian experience, we couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

This is now officially my favourite restaurant in Colchester! Such delicious, authentic food and super friendly staff. Lovely family run place, felt like we were away in Sunny Sicily. The pistachio tiramisu is unreal! Would really recommend!!

Amazing food and experience from an authentic Sicilian restaurant. The decor makes you feel like you are in Sicily, as well as the friendly staff. Highly recommend!

I ate here with family who are Mediterranean and quite fussy about their food! Everything we ordered was really exceptional, all obviously homemade with fresh ingredients. The staff will tell you honestly what not to order if they think it's not up to scratch that day - always a good sign. I can't think of anywhere in Colchester that's currently better.

Popped in after shopping trip and had a lovely sharing plate of meats and cheeses all of which were fresh and superb. We had complimentary mini pizza’s which were lovely. The host was very friendly and knowledgeable and we will certainly return soon

Amazing authentic Sicilian food that takes you back to your trips to the island, hospitality is on another level, best way I can describe is they make you feel that your family is eating with there's! Highly recommend, a restaurant I hope to eat at for the next decade! Go check them out!

Had a look round at this great new venue at the bottom of Schergate Steps. This place has been transformed into a lovely new Family run restaurant and bar.Seriously worth checking out!
