The Lawn Man

The Lawn Man came to the rescue of my lawn about a year ago. It had received regular treatment from a lawn treatment company but it was looking very tired and worn out. Kris came along with expert advice and treatment and now the lawn is looking lush and restored. Kris is approachable for advice when needed and his website is full of helpful seasonal information.

Since first meeting Kris he has now paid 2 visits to our lawn and it is already transformed. Can't wait until next spring to see the full results of his work.Kris is very professional in every aspect of his business and I have no hesitation in recommending his work.

I have ben using Kris now for around 4 years.The lawn that I inherited was patchy and had numerous holes where the previous owners dogs had been busy. My lawns have improved dramatically since I started having Kris (The Lawn Man) look after them. I sought him out because I was so dissatisfied with the large company which previously treated my grass and which, with their offices at the other end of the country, really had no idea of what the specific problems in my garden were. They provided a blanket standard treatment regime without regard to my particular issues. Kris, on the other hand, is very responsive to the customer’s needs and requests and has good advice on all matters relating to grass and lawns. I have both a country garden lawn and a reclaimed paddock which is now part orchard, part vegetable garden and part just grass which I keep cut and Kris understands just what each part of the garden requires. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

We find Kris professional and helpful - only suggesting what is needed for your lawn to help it improve (not a host of treatments for an extra cost).After a few years of using a competitor, we moved to Lawnscience as we felt there was a decline in the service. The cost for Lawnscience is competitive and as good as any others we have experienced... some of our neighbours have since moved to Lawnscience too.Kris always emails before he is thinking of coming so as to arrange a suitable time.Our lawns look in really good condition despite the wet winter we have had, and the moss treatments have really helped.All in all, I would thoroughly recommend..

Kris Lord has been very reliable in turning up at the appointed time and carrying out the agreed treatment. He is very knowledgeable about lawns and is willing to answer questions and discuss any issues I have had about the progress of my lawn. The results of his work have been remarkable, especially on the front lawn which I thought would need to dug up and relaid. Kris has brought it back to life for minimum cost and with little fuss. A great result.
