Wheatley Launderette

Excellent launderette. Good value for money, clean premises and machines. Efficient good quality wash and dry. Very helpful owner who put himself out to make sure I had change for the machines yesterday. Many Thanks

Outstanding service. How have I lived in Wheatley 3 years and only just used the launderette? Competitive prices (cheaper than where I had previously been going), everything washed in 3 days and really lovely lady working there who was very helpful and friendly.

Laundromat is dirty and the washing machine's balancing system is delicate meanwhile I didn't have so many clothes, The biggest machine was rattling so loudly! The primus dryer wasn't so well. I want the problem to be fixed. Lucas

Very rare that all of the machines are working.Machines are dirty, inside/round the doors and the washing powder trays look to be seldom cleaned.Two machines don’t spin, one jumps from 2 to 7 minutes constantly. One has been out of order for weeks.Relatively expensive. Can’t wait until we have sorted our kitchen out and have a machine back at home!Dryers are ok, they dry a load in around 25 minutes (longer if the washing is wetter because the machine hasn’t rinsed or spun!).Too hot and miss to be used reliably.

The laundry offers a fantastic collection/delivery service which my mum and dad found invaluable. We subscribed to a regular weekly service and items arrived back fresh and neatly folded. Great communication, competitively priced, reliable and clean, fresh laundry all make a great package for the housebound. Thoroughly recommend

Generally tidy, good facilities. Think the lack of card payments and prices let it down a bit. From memory the smaller load wash is £5.10 and the dryer is 70p (per 5mins IIRR). These are pretty strange increments meaning you always end up overpaying (no change given) unless you can raid a piggybank to get oodles of change. A small load wash and dry always seems to be >£10. Botley Road Laurette with contactless is always a bit cheaper, maybe dryers more efficient too?

My first visit today. Great machines but the actual area around the machines was filthy unfortunately, not just spilt washing powders which I'd expect but cobwebs and dirt, also the powder trays are dirty. The shop front is also filthy and on arriving I assumed the business had closed down, which it hasn't thankfully. Having said that my washing has come out clean and competitive prices and excellent parking outside.

This place doesn't smell like a launderette, it doesn't smell at all, when I went it was choca-bloc with service washes and it was difficult to navigate the piles of washing.The machines were relatively new and very efficient, a warm quick wash was £4 .40 and done in 21 washing machine minutes (I never trust their counters) but it did seem quick.The drier was done in about 25 minutes and works out at about 10p a minute.All in all it is what you expect from a launderette.

Went on a Wednesday morning about 9 ish to wash a quilt which is way to big for my own machine, get there to be told we can't use the large machines as they are being used for service washes and if we need to use one would have to come back after 12 o'clock. When I checked the website before going it said that the laundry was open forSelf-service 7.30am  –  9.30pm everydayStaffed Mondays to Thursdays 9.30am to 1.00pm for service washes etcIt does not say anywhere that the large machines would be out of action till after midday as they used for service wash. If it had said that I would of gone after 12 but instead ended up wasting my time as it was a 40 minute round trip.
