I just dropped in to this hotel yesterday to see if they could help me get a taxi, the staff were very helpful and really friendly. Excellent customer service, even though in the end I wasn't even a customer!

Spent a few nights here and couldn’t fault anything. The staff were friendly and helpful, service spot on. Breakfast and the wings were delicious and the room very comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommend

The Forest Hotel
I arrived at the forest, me and a group of friends sat outside. The lights weren’t working so my friend had a look at the lights and switches. The manager came out saying we had “fiddled with the lights”. I apologised to him even though hadn’t done anything and thanked him, however he mocked this, shouted at us and didn’t accept an apology. He made us feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable.

The only place you will get discriminated by your colour of your skin. Your religion, your sexuality. Your illness, your needs. Your financial situation, what you wear.Its the must bullies place that i ever visit. It’s actually a cheap place. But the managements is just rubbish. All they care about. If you are from abroad they don care. As long you have an accent you should shut you mouth . Especially if you are black African or Caribbean. Or Indian or Pakistan.The manager call Andrew apparently. He is the head of racism bully.must of people believe its a place only for local English only.Do yourself a favour save your money do not stay there. Or drink there.

The Forest Hotel
One of the finest places I stayed in Solihull, it is a gem of its own. It is quirky with a lot of charm and character. The furnishings and the bed itself is truly incredible - I slept well on our last stay!If you are booking your stay here for a weekend, don’t forget to include a breakfast with your booking and ask for the King Rooms especially Room number 2. It can be a bit noisy downstairs on a Saturday night but it becomes quiet by 10pm onwards.

Overnight stay for business trip. Staff friendly, helpful and professional. Bar area is comfortable and well managed. Had a continental breakfast which was superb. Cooked breakfast was only available after 9am but I was fine with what I had. Will stay again!

Food about average service could have been a lot better, far too busy for the size of the bar dinning area, noise level far too high, wouldn't rush back

We had a family 50th birthday here yesterday and everything was fantastic. The private dining suite was spacious and lovely. The food was incredible both meat and veggie options. Joe who looked after us was perfect ensuring we had drinks, music, heating and of course food. Thank you to Joe, staff and chefs for making the event really enjoyable.

Had a fantastic meal here for our anniversary, can’t believe how helpful & polite the staff where honestly one of the best services We have ever had while eating out :) loved the fact that everyone worked well together all smiles & our waiter Jonathan was absolutely brilliant & very professional I would definitely recommend this place & will most definitely be back :) amazing customer service all round! Thank you!
