I sent my pony to Snailriver to be started as a driving pony in October 2023. I was very happy with the care he received during his several weeks there and was particularly impressed with how he developed a bond with Claire. She clearly treated him kindly and rewarded him for his good behaviour. Claire's reputation for being excellent with driving ponies is very well deserved.I enjoyed my driving lessons with Claire and found her very easy to understand, I received written notes, verbal explanation, and practical demonstration and was able to then try for myself under her guidance. All in all, it has been excellent value for money.

Had a fantastic Christmas carriage ride. Beautiful countryside, fantastic horses and mulled wine and mince pies to boot!! Highly recommend

Would thoroughly recommend Snailriver Horse Drawn Carriages. Very professional, nothing was too much trouble, and made my daughter's wedding day so special, as it was a surprise for her. Cannot thank Claire enough for all her help in the organisation, and sorry the bride was late! The ride was amazingly comfortable, and we felt like royalty as people were waving to us on our journey.

Claire was amazing! The boys were very well turned out for my wedding, I had two amazing black beautys and the blue lando carriage.I had to more dates and gave Claire just two days notice! And she did everything she possibly could to make sure I could have my princess arrival.The boys matched my colour scheme perfectly with red, gold and orange plumes, she was amazing at communicating with me.I highly recommend Snailriver and would use them again in a heartbeat.Claire and her partner also dressed to match my colour scheme too with matching ties to my groom.The boys were amazingly well behaved, they had school pick up time to cope with when we came out of the church and it didn't bother them in the slightest, they took us through our local highstreet too to get to our venue. We can't fault them in the slightest.

Great time....very detailed and caring...well looked after horses and the instructors were very knowledgeable. Had a super birthday driving around the spectacular countryside. Highly recommended.

Claire, at Snailriver Horse Drawn Carriage Co, has been teaching me to carriage drive. The wealth of knowledge that both Claire and Mark share so willingly and with such patience is fantastic. They go out of their way to help for example, loading an extra carriage and pony (the lovely Troy) so I could do my first competition, just brilliant. Claire now has my miniature Shetland pony to put to carriage for me and again Claire and Mark demonstrate nothing but patience and kindness with Bagheera and the results are just fantastic. I would highly recommend Snailriver Horse Drawn Carriage Co, Claire and Mark to anyone for any of the services that they provide.

Claire is understanding and patient and gives fabulous advice. She adjusts her teaching style to suit the individual. The ponies are so well behaved and made our first team driving lesson an absolute pleasure! Highly recommend Claire for all carriage driving needs!

Last week my wife & I enjoyed an hour-long two horse carriage drive to celebrate her 80th birthday & we were not disappointed. Claire & Mark along with our plush carriage & two delightful horses were waiting for us on arrival, before embarking on a large circular drive through the narrow lanes around Kettlebaston. It was stunning: the sound of the hooves and the scenery was amazing & more than we ever expected.Thank you Claire & Mark, you made our day.

Fantastic 1st lesson with Claire. Bucket list tick. Very professional,patient and expert teacher. Wonderful location driving out on the fens with well trusted ponies. Couldn't be happier with my experience. Was even allowed to stay overnight in my camper to enjoy another lesson the following day; taking my dog who enjoyed canal side walks right on the doorstop.Some stunning horses and ponies, clearly well looked after. Thoroughly recommended for complete beginners such as my self and other levels. Would I go back, absolutely.

My mum hired a carriage and horses for my wedding and they were amazing! The Cinderella carriage is beautiful! My nieces and nephews also got to ride in the carriage on the day and they were absolutely thrilled.We would thoroughly recommend them!
