For the first time seeing a production by this company I saw them perform their recent production of Macbeth. I wasn't aware it would be an abridged version and I don't know whether they arranged the abridgement themselves or used an already abridged version but it made for an extremely well paced and fluid version that managed to represent the best and most pivotal scenes of the play. Every actor gave a fantastic performance, especially the leads who gave a versatile development of each character in a believable way that really built for the tragic falls, some very unnerving eerie scenes too where the props and costume designs shone, and the set design and scene change was beautifully simplistic and accompanied by effecting music contemporary to the time. I look forward to their next production of an Oscar Wilde play I am not familiar with, but for this company I will happily go in blind for my first experience of it.
