I booked Naiomi Deru back last year. I had seen so many lovely dresses she had made previously and knew this would be the person I would use to make my bridesmaids dresses.One of the things I loved most about my experience with her; was how accommodating she was of me and my 14 bridesmaids. From the moment of our first consultation it was so fun, I remember brining all my girls to the studio, Naomi got us all a glass of bubbly, snacks and then had a design session where she sketched out a few dresses to choose from - which helped take the stress away! It was actually a great concept because it gave me a chance to hang out with my bridesmaids and get such a big group together (which can be hard some times)What I most admire, was her professionalism like my girls didn’t need multiple dress fittings ! Once she has measured them, they came back for a first fitting and then once the alterations was done - that was it (just like that) !!!My girls looked gorgeous, dresses were Made to measure - I’ll have to attach a pic or you can see picture following our hashtag #TheSulis2019Thankyou so much again Naomi Deru - memories I will keep for a lifetime !!!!

Naomi was a recommendation by a friendGreat personality - bubblyShe made the dresses on time and was amenable to alterations. Despite a few alternations being needed - she did it during that fitting. My bridesmaids were happy.The dresses were tailor made to size and she works with any body shape - pregnant, skinny , plus size , tall shortMy key point was for excellent fit and she made sure this happened eventuallyIf she had to change the date or time of a meeting- she told you in advanceShe was relatively easy to contact but sometimes took a while to replyMy only gentle critique is she was quite slow to creating a dress for me after my wedding which was from excess material ( bridesmaid had visa issues) that was not needed but I had paid for. Resultantly, I had to arrange delivery of the material so I could make a dress elsewhere . So aftercare following the wedding could be improved because it helps strengthen professional ties and encourage lifelong customers ( not just for weddings but for life

It was a pleasure having Naomi sew my wedding dress, she was very professional and ensured things were done in a timely manor. I approached her literally 6 months before the big day after my mum found her on Instagram and showed me her work I was immediately sold. Although it was short notice she was still able to make it happen and have a beautiful dress made for me in time. The style I chose was quite simple, nonetheless with Naomi’s talented hand, the intricate detail of the stitching and the lovely ivory satin fabric she recommended really brought the dress out in all its beauty. In future I will definitely use Naomi again and recommend anyone out there to use her also as you will not be disappointed.

I recently had Naomi make my Nigerian wedding dress as well as my mum, two sisters and niece's Nigerian dresses. I really cannot fault her work. The dresses came out lovely and we all received so many compliments. Naomi was very friendly and so accommodating every time we visited her studio. Highly recommend her.

Working with Naomi was just seamless (no pun intended ;) ) from start to finish. She maid 8 dresses for my bridesmaids and maid of honour. Her responses were fast and and service was just great. I couldn’t fault the process, she gave her inputs when we weren’t too sure and was timely with her updates. God bless your hands!! I would recommend you over and over again.

Naomi was professional, approachable and lovely to work with. She understood my vision for the bridesmaids dresses immediately in terms of colour and style. The dresses were ready ahead of time and she made necessary adjustments as soon as possible. She was so easy to work with and I would choose her again in a heartbeat. Naomi services are bespoke. I am the sort of person that values someone's vibe when talking over the phone especially that l was planning my wedding. And trust me she had a good and positive vibe. And when planning a stressful event a good vibe and positivity is needed and goes a long way. The first conversation was so insightful and she got my idea. Our face to face meeting she was welcoming, professional, kind and patient. The dresses were amazing, l had an idea in my head and she brought it to live. My wedding was in April and alot of people till to this day are still talking about the bridesmaids dresses, how amazing and beautiful there were. I would 100% recommend her services, trust and believe you will not be disappointed.

The question was never who but when?! I always knew I would use Naomi Deru for my bridesmaid dresses. She was such a joy to work with from helping select fabrics to being flexible with my girls for their fittings. I can’t say thank you enough Naomi!
