A true vintage shop, with unique items. Not like a lot of generic or over the top vintage shops that are the norm on the high streets. Ian stocks a lot of military and work wear, much of it in great condition and all of high quality. Ian is very friendly and knows the story behind every piece of clothing in his shop.Definitely worth a visit even if you just want a tour through the wears.

It is a hidden treasure. First the clothes and record are class. Second, the owner and their lovely daughter are very friendly and nice. Third, I finally got some decent coats in excellent condition and good price. I was searching for the whole week to find a classical longline coat. Definitely worthy to visit.

I got my hair cut there recently and have never felt more comfortable. In the hands of a total pro with Ian.You’ll find a wee coffee shop upon entering, those sweet smells and the sounds from whatever’s spinning greet you. Going further in to the space you’ll find a hand picked selection of fiiine vintage wares and records for your perusal. A delight of a place with a super easy energy. Big up alchemy

One of my work colleagues recommended Iain when I wanted to try something completely different with my hair. Iain is a genius. The most precise and conscientious hair stylish I've ever been to, he really takes his time and explains every step of the way what he's doing. It feels very collaborative and the atmosphere in the shop is so chill.Iain is one of the most interesting people I've ever met and he's created a really beautiful space with Alchemy Vintage and Arts so do yourself a favour and visit!!

First time going to Iain for a haircut and I’m absolutely delighted with my hair! Iain is friendly, knowledgeable and takes time to consider what works best for you. I really liked that he also took the time to explain what he was doing and why. The music was brilliant, the chat and the vibe of the place is great and there’s also a fantastic selection of vintage clothing and records. Definitely recommend!

Good chat and cool tunes on the turntables. Most importantly Iain is a master of his craft who takes his time and delivers a brilliant haircut each & every time.

From walking into the building, picking up a coffee then entering Alchemy, I must say I was really surprised, it's spacious, well laid out and friendly. The clothing both male and female is of a high quality, there's no rubbish on the rails, every piece has something to offer, well chosen for both the style and the condition. If you regard style rather than fashion this place is a must see when in Belfast.
