During my latter year of my degree, I lost my sister to cancer, had an operation and moved house all in 6 months, I felt completely drained and stressed. I contacted Barnsley Hypnosis and Counselling and saw Jeana. She was so helpful and provided me with some self help recordings for meditation, which are brilliant. My sleep became much better and I learned how to become more positive, which has been so helpful for me. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone who wishes to receive help with their problems and in general, maintain their mental wellbeing.

Jeana is a fantastic person to not just get a long with during sessions but also for my peace of mind regarding my trauma since childhood, very good at explaining everything and ways I can understand regarding the way I think and about situations that has happened or will happen. The thought of therapy left me feeling nervous after going from CAMHS but Jeana made me feel so at ease the second I met her, I never thought I would look forward to going to therapy, but I do. She really is changing my life, I thought I would always feel this way and forever have to deal with anxiety to it’s worst, but after seeing Jeana I know there is hope. She really is changing my life. You can’t put a price on your mental health, it is the core of your life. I can’t thank Jeana enough for what she has done for me. I had never thought of myself as someone that would need therapy, but found myself at a very low point that I couldn't work through by myself. I saw Wendy, who was instrumental in helping me reframe my thoughts and feelings, and take back control. I am now in a much better place, but I wouldn't hesitate to re-book if I started to notice myself heading back to where I was.
