Sarum College

Although our room on the 4th floor (and under the roof) was hot like an oven yesterday, I asked for a fan and the receptionist on duty gave her fan to me. Pay the extra for the rooms with views of the Cathedral. Worthless. The breakfast is ok and they have on site parking. Please stay here if you ever go to Salisbury.

This was a great place to stay. For a very decent price I got a small, clean room, shared bath (though it was quite empty and I had it all to myself) and a great breakfast.The view over the cathedral is stunning, the building itself really gorgeous and well maintained, and the staff were fantastic.

Great place of learning with conferences and courses. B&B good if older accommodation adapted... So not luxury but good! Nice food. Enjoyed the library!

A charmingly old building with very helpful staff. Location was central, and being greeted by the sight of a magnificent cathedral as you step outside the main door is a lovely experience. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable as well. If you have the option between a shared bathroom and a private bathroom, I think paying a little extra for a private bathroom is well worth the money

Great facilities in an incomparable location at a budget price. Cannot fault anything as every aspect is very well organized( breakfast, information to guests, hygiene in rooms and bathrooms) and the place tends to quiet relaxation and peace. Best night sleep I have had in months!

A splendid location in The Cathedral Close offering great hospitality. An ideal base to explore the city and its environs.

Loved our stay here - fabulous view of the cathedral from the room and stepping out it's directly in front of you! Room was very large with a big bathroom. Buffet was excellent with great selection of cooked and continental and huge amount of fruit! Very friendly and helpful staff. The college is within the Cathedral Close, so there's security at night which adds to sense of safety and you couldn't be any more centrally located. The whole time my partner and I kept saying how we couldn't believe the price (1 night at £110 total for us both w/breakfast on a bank holiday weekend!). 10/10

What makes this hotel incredible is that it's situated in front of the cathedral. The staff is really cool and the parking for free. Breakfast isn't worth it but whatever !
