I cannot recommend Flynn Vets highly enough. Ellen was so kind, empathetic, and understanding when I was in yesterday. She explained everything thoroughly and patiently answering all questions that came up. So polite and friendly! Thanks for everything!

My cat was quite ill and Aoife at Flynn's was able to see him at short notice and give him a thorough assessment, recommend and carry out a course of treatment. A very professional service, also very friendly and empathetic, cannot recommend highly enough! Cat is now 100%, thanks to his treatment.

Mike Morfett is a first class vet who practises with kindness, compassion and huge knowledge. He is immensely patient and kind both with my pet dogs and their human owners. We highly, highly recommend.

We called with our dog Pinky who was very ill and sadly had to be put to sleep. Ciaran was so kind and explained everything to us and answered all our questions. Big thank you also to vet nurse and receptionist, who were so pleasant.

I spent years trying to find what is wrong with my dog, spent over 3000£ to figure out, trails of meds, cream and diet nothing worked, I was at wits end and about to consider putting him to sleep, found a senior vet at Flynn's, without testing he knew what is wrong and gave me meds and shot for me, it worked!! 4 years later he is alive and kicking . I couldn't be more thankful and grateful for saving my spirit and my dog. Lukie and I appreciate it.

I've had two pets with this vet and with my last one they were extremely professional, had excellent value and Mike was very knowledgeable, they gave him excellent treatment and were happy to help even though I can't afford many expensive vet trips, however I prefer them to the PDSA as they're nearer and have (or had) a little more time to spare and much better care to give, which remains true to this day.Recently communication has gotten a little more difficult and they seem to be rather up to their necks when it comes to dealing with things, though they do deal with things and deal with them properly. I can only assume its due to the totally ineffective COVID regulations (UK is 3rd in terms of mortality per capita compared to Sweden which doesn't have any and is 15th or Japan which is about 50th) putting pressure small businesses like these really good vets, pressure which makes people make mistakes (however I couldn't see them making any major mistakes, they are extremely professional) and there was a slight miscommunication error (probably some on my part) which led me to leave a (slightly, it was 4* rather than the 5 they deserve) more critical review than this current one. Speaking to them in person got everything sorted out and they are excellent vets. I'd definitely recommend them, especially as they're handling things quite well given current events. They're doing everything they can to cater to their patients and seem to be catering better for people and pets alike compared to the few different vets other family members go to due to it being nearer. The vets working there are also great. Mike is extremely knowledgeable and thorough and will explain things well and go into a great amount of detail to explain things and double check everything, same goes for the female vet I've dealt with (I forget her name) she is also very thorough and both seem to really care about the animals they work with, they aren't vets who are just in it for the money and have gone out of their way multiple times over multiple pets to make sure I get the best possible deal for their service. The receptionists are great too and are happy to answer pet-related questions even if you aren't booking an appointment (although you would naturally need to have your pet registered with them, not just call up for information and waste their time) at that time. They tend to have an extremely friendly attitude all around and good bedside manner. I would definitely recommend this vet.I'll probably make this my first port of call even though I am PDSA eligible as they are much closer and more caring towards their customers/patients.In the other hand I took my last cat to the PDSA (NOT FLYNN VETS, so don't read this thinking this happened at Flynn Vets, this is comparing them to the PDSA) as he was really ill and I know he would need expensive imaging that I couldn't afford, I wasn't able to pet him and say goodbye, they dragged him out of the carrier in a different room, informed me that he might not survive sedation then phoned me and pressed me into having him put down while I was still at home, after that they handed me him wrapped in a shroud out the back door like they were conducting some sort of illegal business, then 'forgot' to hand back the carrier until they were informed they had it forcing me to put my dead cat down on a wall and pick up the carrier. I won't be going to the PDSA unless I know I can't afford it and will Note that this section is a comparison to the PDSA and NOT about Flynn's Vets treatment of pets and bedside manner, Flynn Vets are absolutely excellent and I could never se them act so clinical and distant with no bedside manner, the PDSA however; you get what you pay for. As such I'll be seeing if pet insurance is cheap enough to be justified as I really want to stay with my local, caring vet clinic.

We've had a really great experience here with our elderly dog Rosie. Her original vet did not want to risk surgery for a large splenic tumour and we were reluctantly resigned to losing her. However a few months later as she deteriorated, we sought a second opinion with Dan at Flynn vets. This resulted in a successful operation to remove her huge tumour which subsequently showed no sign of malignancy. Seven months on and Rosie is active again and loving life. Dan took time to explain the possible risks and benefits of surgery and gave no guarantees as to the outcome but at all times we felt he had our pet's welfare at heart. The whole team at Flynns have given great care to a much loved pet and have hopefully enabled us to share in a few more of her twilight years.

Had to take our German Shepherd after midnight last night after she took a severe allergic reaction. Cannot commend Mike highly enough for his fantastic care and treatment towards her and spending 1 hr 15 mins at that time of night to ensure she was recovering well. Fantastic vet.
