Mary has a wealth of experience and knowledge not only about learning to drive but also ways to ensure you will be a good driver once you’ve passed. Her relaxed approach and wise advice really helped me overcome my anxiety about driving and I now feel confident behind the wheel. I felt that Mary personalised the lessons to make sure I got the most out of them and tailored them to focus on areas that needed more work. Her comprehensive knowledge of the bus timetables faced me with some challenging situations that really set me up for when driving on my own. I can’t recommend Mary enough and thoroughly enjoyed all my lessons.

I started learning with Mary at the beginning of June 2022 after having a few lessons with another instructor. I immediately noticed the difference; Mary was patient and taught me everything I needed to know with a good pace. I passed my test, first time, in February 2023, and I am now confidently driving around and not having to wait for buses or rely on trains. I can't recommend Mary enough - if you're wanting to learn in Lancaster then she's the instructor for you.

Superb Driving Instructor. I had driving lessons on and off with numerous instructors for a while when younger, I honestly thought I may never learn to drive....then I met Mary. So patient, and such a calming influence. Mary believed in me and I succeeded - If I could give Mary 10 stars I would.Passing with Mary changed my life and 6 years later, I am now a self employed Gardener..If I hadn't booked with Bay School Motoring, I honestly think I wouldn't be driving, be stuck catching trains continuing to do a job that made me miserable.
