Extremely enjoyable, informative and morale-boosting first lesson with Gavin today. Gavin is extremely personable and knowledgeable, which helped me to absorb all of his advice. I could do with a bit of practice to go over what I learned. I hope to be back for more next week and in the future. Thanks Gav!

I came across Gavin's snooker coaching last year and signed up initially to do some individual lessons. Having never had a coach before I suddenly realized the benefits of doing so.We went back to basics somewhat and we ensured I had a proper pre-shot routine, a focused and measured approach when down on the shot and the importance of following through on the shot. The technical assistance is a key part of the game and mine has improved substantially.Gavin's communication is clear and concise and puts across the message in an understandable way.We also have done some specific and measurable practice routines which give me a challenge and I can see how much progression I am making.I would certainly recommend Gavin's coaching if you are looking to improve your game (mine has) and I believe he has the knowledge to improve you game, improve your mindset and approach no matter what stage you are in your snooker journey.Gavin is also personally assisting me in the psychological side of the game which I know is an important, integral part of the game which will serve me to feel more confident about my game.I have continued to use Gavin's coaching (and will so in 2021) as my snooker ability / game is on a upward trajectory.

I’ve only managed time for a few coaching sessions with Gavin but even in that short period I have really moved on both with my technique and strategy. He’s a great guy and keeps the advice simple and direct for the quickest way to improve. Don’t expect me to be challenging Judd Trump anytime soon but I’m definitely enjoying the game more than ever.

I started playing snooker again recently after a 15 year break from the game and immediately found that old habits and an inconsistent cueing action were still there. So I decided to book some coaching with Gavin. I must admit that I was a little concerned that this would consist of lots of poking and prodding. However this was not the case. Gavin observed my action and immediately broke my faults down into understandable bitesize chunks. He explained what this was doing to my action and gave me clear instruction on how to fix it. The coaching felt ''taylor made and I now have a good base to work from to improve my game with further coaching from Gavin already booked.
