Always been power ni customer for as far as I remember...currently exploring options elsewhere. In the past 3 years they have stopped a direct debit without notice whilst in credit (over £200), when started again they change unbeknown to me the direct debit from monthly to quarterly......moved back to monthly when found out....and now, they changed my direct debit from £40 p/m to £64p/m to fix their error. Terrible customer service of blaming customer when all the errors come from power ni side. 3 occasions where they adjust your account without you knowing. No help from customer service, just tell you what's was done wrong on their part but require you to fix to suit.

Dreadful experience trying to pay online . Spent hour this morning and 30 minutes this pm trying to pay my bill. Everything site tells me it's removing my card number for securityreasons reasons

Property trespassed, illegal destruction of my property by agents of Power NI. ( Mills), contacted power ni 8hours ago to log complaint and was informed someone would call me back. Hey up, still waiting!! Worst was, Power NI had never even logged and work to be done at my property. Disgusting!? Mills workers gone before 3, left with gaping hole, dust everywhere, no apologies. Some customer services there.

When i switched and then attempted to change my mind they refused to honour the 10 day cooling off period stipulated on the email they send me . Tried to pretend i had registered as a new customer when i had used the switching link and supplied my meter reading and they contacted my existing supplier. Incompetent and dishonest.

I tried to access PowerNI's website for a keypad top up, after numerous attempts it failed to load, no problem I'll just call them and do it over the phone, which unfortunately also did not work via speaking to an automated call, no problem I can just wait and speak to someone and get this done asap. I waited on the line for over 8 minutes and when the lady answered hello" I said hello back

Power NI increased my direct debit in June from £25 to £65 a month and has taken 3 £65 a month payments so far which would equate to £195 a quarter. My last bill was less than £40. Phoned Power NI today to ask for my direct debit to be reduced to £35 a month as £65 a month is not appropriate for my usage, has accumulated a £140 credit on my account and asked for some of the credit to be refunded as this increase was causing me financial difficulty. The reduction to £35 a month was not implemented on the call and I was told I had to wait until my next bill before I could get a refund. I asked to raise a complaint and was told someone would be in touch within 3 to 5 working days. Before I had a chance to respond the phone was hung up. I emailed complaints@powerni explaining how this was impacting my mental health as I couldn’t afford my electric bill more than doubling without my consent to which I’ve yet to receive a response. I didn’t eat today because of my financial difficulties. This is how Power NI treats their vulnerable customers - disgraceful.

Awful expensive company for electricity.When leaving them they lifted over £100 from my account without informing me first, only 2 weeks after lifting the direct debit for that months bill.

Had nothing but great service from PowerNI. Cancelled our account as we're moving house and James from their team went above and beyond in customer care. Made us confident that we'll use them again.

Absolute dreadful customer service, company app is pointless!, the way they have handled the government voucher scheme had done it for me so as soon as i receive mine I will be changing supplier immediately.I have already phoned the number you are showing & 3 different times I've been told that you know nothing & just put the blame on Eastbourne post office & you've already told me you have red-flagged my case 3 times so why would I waste my time! Just get on with it.. You cancelled my voucher on 30th jan it's now 12th Apr & no voucher!
