From the very first meeting with Simon until the collection of my amazing masterpiece, I had the best experience ever.I have never had a bespoke hat made before and it was a brilliant experience. Simon really listens to the ideas of his clients, gives guidance and suggestions and then translates it all into something quite extraordinary. I was even able to supply some of my friend’s peacock feathers to make it even more personal. The headpiece was admired constantly at the wedding I recently attended, and I can’t wait to wear it again!

I was delighted to have found Simon to design and make my hat for our daughter’s wedding. His care and attention to detail is second to none. I enjoyed the whole experience and after choosing the colour scheme to match my outfit, and spending around an a hour with him in his studio I was very confident to give him ‘carte blanche ’ with the hat decorations. I was amazed to see the finished hat and couldn’t wait to wear it. I felt a million dollars on the day and have received so many compliments on my outfit and ‘the hat’. I am so thrilled that despite this year of postponed and cancelled special occasions I was able to wear my beautiful hat that Simon made me for our sons wedding in October. The photographs really don’t begin to do it justice. The amount of creativity, attention to detail and exquisite workmanship that has gone into my Marvellous Millenery creation is truly incredible. I wanted something totally bespoke to match my dress and got that and more. Simon is a genius and can’t recommend him highly enough. From concept to completion the service I received was Marvellous.

The initial consultation was a joy as Simon talked me through the options and listened carefully to my wishes. His attention to detail was quite extraordinary and Simon's quest for perfection, particularly in colour matching was very reassuring. The whole process was an absolute delight from beginning to end and the finished product was so much more than I could have ever imagined. Simon is so creative and an absolute pleasure to deal with. He co-ordinated the flowers, band and feather on my hat to match elements of my outfit and created a very lovely wide-brimmed hat - and all achieved over phone and FaceTime, as I live too far away to attend his studio. I would have no hesitation in asking Simon to make me a hat again and hope I have an opportunity to do so before too long!

Simon helped design & then created my hat for my daughters wedding and it couldn’t have been more stunning. I was having trouble colour-matching my dress with any hat on the high street but Simon wasn’t fazed and made the whole process so easy. He was also able to incorporate the colour of the bridesmaid dresses as well as the nude colour of my shoes in his design. He then also suggested & made a necklace & earring set that was also stunning. He is absolutely amazing at what he does and I wouldn’t hesitate to visit him again if I’m ever in need of another hat !
