I went into this shop with my husband last week, to purchase a necklace and matching earrings. They weren't busy at the time, actually we were the only customers in. We were stood at the counter waiting to be served, both girls working there that day both had there backs to us at first, then one of them turned around ,I smiled at her and she completely ignored me and started doing something on the counter and popped a couple of sweets in her mouth, I said excuse me which she completely ignored and popped another sweet in her mouth, at which point I was so fuming a said to her I won't buy the £56 worth of jewelry then, and walked out. She must have either been deaf and blind or just plain ignorant and rude. I will never enter this shop again.

Love this alternative store however since covid I feel like there's less of a range in the jewelry boxes and little bits of jewelry and such they used to sell to me those were some of the best aspects of cleopatra.

I am giving one star for the whole shopping experience and customer service we received. There where two girls working at the time, we are the only customers. Firstly, want to point out they are extremely ignorant, unpolite, rolling their eyes at me. I bought the bracelet for my husband and didn't check the size, which was too small for him, came back to store a minute later after purchasing it to ask if have different size, they said no, asked if could return and gave this extremely rude intonation with eye rolls and attitude 'Exchange only!'. The shop policy is a shop policy, whatever, don't mind, since it was my mistake not checking size first, but the attitude and manners are shocking. No hello's, no 'thank you for shopping', 'do you want to try it first?', didn't even want to open box to let me see what was inside (since got me another box from under counter). Would never ever get my foot to their store again! Can't even remember any similar shopping experience in my whole life. Don't know how they keep their store open...

Given a coat for Christmas wrong size. Wouldn't refund or order in correct size. Very disappointed won't shop there again. Avoid the clothes for gifts. A very kind present ruined by terrible customer service

Some beautiful things if you're into that sort of stuff. Bought my sister some earrings for her birthday and she loves them! Also the incense sticks are gorgeous!

Nice store but when I asked if they had clothing in another size she didnt seem like she wanted to hear it.

This is a big favourite of mine, bought all my Dragons and Wizards from here. The silver rings are very beautiful couldn't resist buying a marcasite Celtic ring. If you want clothes that are one offs, I got a new romantic shirt £10 I'm trying to expand my collection of Tudor Mint Myths and Magic pieces my last acquisition was a 4 ft tall solid pewter roaring dragon weighs a ton I love him. Cleopatra has been one of my fave haunts for many years and on a recent trip to the Meadowhall one, me and the fella were really surprised and pleased at the way the staff were so helpful when I needed to try on a few items. There was a changing room that had boxes in, and the staff moved them out so I could squeeze in! So, thanks so much for doing that for us when it was so busy. After my pay had gone through, I couldn't resist spending a little on some jewellery I had an eye on for the past few months.One thing I will say is that they have jewellery for everyone whether it is silver, dress or stuff for a younger crowd - they seem to have it all. The t shirts are worth a look and a buy as we were surprised at the quality of the prints (some had back ones) and you tend to feel that you have to almost buy the entire shop after one visit!This is an essential visit for anyone goth, rocker, metaller, emo or alternative who likes jewellery and clothing that is different to what the rest of the herd are wearing.
