Paid upfront privately and they keep cancelling my appointment without telling me. Now currently cant get them to answer their phone for a emergency appointment.

Booked in for my son and Mrs this morning to be told they are not! We have the slips but NO. Get pissed about again. My daughter went for 2 fillings. Dentist couldn't do I ( he has no clue) rebook for fillings. Oh no another problem. They can't do it again. Unfortunately I can't give a zero star rating.Oh and to top it all th manager (lady) has no clue. They should change staff or close the practice. Pure incompetents.

Absolutely fuming with south cliff service. My wife has been waiting months to have a tooth taken out, was told she'd be put on priority list. Rang up to find out how long the priority list is after another few weeks to be told she'll now have to wait another 2 months to get an appointment to have the tooth removed as there's no one to remove it. What is the point having a dentist surgery if your dentist can't do there job!! Receptionist was rude and didn't deal with the situation professionally and told my wife to just deal with it.Waste of time! Bad service and rubbish dentist surgeons.

I been at Smike Clinic/solent cliff for a number of years, i had to cancel appointment once this year and the practice cancelled and gave me a new date for January 2024, but now I need to see someone about my filling had come out and the tooth is sharp, I sent two emails left two messages and made numerous other call, no one had bother to contact me, just wondering is it because I'm a nhs patient and not private, because that's how it feels, if anyone from solent cliffs is reading this, please could you give me a call. Thanks.

Do they even have receptionists?? I've left a voice mail months ago because I couldn't get anyone to answer and realised a few days ago no one ever got back to me. I've tried AGAIN for the last few days and no one ever answers!! They have cancelled the last 2 or 3 appointments I've had always last minute. Not matter what time I call there's no answer!

Even though I have been rescheduled a couple times there has always been plenty of communication. My dentist Amish is very nice and I haven't experienced pain with him unlike most other dentists I've been to in the past so I'm less nervous seeing him thank you very much

after suffering with painful toothache I rang for emergency appointment and was given one for 6 days later, after being in pain and not sleeping for 3 days I called into the surgery to see if I could be seen sooner, I was told no but to go home and wait and take whatever antibiotics and painkillers I could find, which I have done. Went for my appointment this morning only to be told by a rude man that my tooth needs to come out and to go downstairs and book myself an appointment for an extraction. I asked if they could do it today and was told no, they don't have anyone to do it. This was confirmed by one of the 3 receptionists who told me I would be put on a waiting list but couldn't tell me how long this would take! I told them this was unacceptable as I am in pain but they just said come back in a week if it still hurts! They just charged me 25.80 for a check up which I said I was not happy about because I had no treatment but was told if I didn't pay it I would have debt on my account. Left in tears, still in pain so my advice.......don't go there! I will be taking my complaint further. 6 days later and I am still waiting for a return phone call, a prescription for antibiotics and an appointment for treatment. I was told the manager lady is in a meeting all afternoon and the dentist is busy!

Hi I just wanted to compliment the lady dentist I saw yesterday at 11am for a filling. The filling is in and awkward place my two front teeth but I have an overbite as well. She was so meticulous and thorough in her work making sure it was just right in the fit with my other teeth and bite. She was very courteous and friendly too I can’t tell you how happy I am that I can finally smile openly again. I feel awful that I didn’t catch her name as she was such a good dentist and her assistant was also very friendly too

My boyfriend and I had a new patient appointment this morning at 8.30am at Southcliff dental in Gosport. We arrived 15 minutes early to a locked door and one other person outside. Just after our appointment was supposed to happen, the receptionist came and unlocked the door followed by her boyfriend who didn’t apologise for being late and they both absolutely stunk of cannabis. He left and she told us to fill out the forms. Whilst doing this she took a call, left the room and the dentist finally turned up for work 40 mins after the place was supposed to open. The receptionist gets back and says her manager told her we can’t be seen today so we need to go and reschedule. We told them at the time of booking that it was a little bit out of our time range but we would manage. Then got 2 or 3 reminders over the weekend.This is so highly unprofessional and it’s caused a lot of disruption to our day

Very dissatisfied with the service. After multiple cancellations I finally got my appointment and got there and there were no notes on my account as to why I was there even though I explained on the phone why I needed an appointment. Then when it was time to do the work I was told the equipment is faulty so I have to rebook, fair enough. Let’s see if the appointment holds. While I’m there I was told I urgently need scale and polish but they will only do it privately even though it falls under NHS if clinically required, so if it’s urgent then why can it not be done under NHS? At what point is it clinically required? It just feels like you want to extract money from me instead of taking care of my teeth.I also don’t understand why I need to fill forms every visit! Why is the computer system not holding the information? And if you going to make me fill forms every time then at least have a pen and a clipboard for me to use. It’s a minor annoyance compared to the many cancellations but it is still a part of the service.
