Festive Bakes are my absolute favourite, shame they are Seasonal

Popped in for a bacon and sausage sandwich was very busy this morning as its Remembrance Sunday. Clearly anticipating more people out and about they had more food than normal on display and the bacon was piled high. Apparently they'd run out of sausages, and there was so much bacon the lid wasn't on the warming tray. It didn't click with me at the point of ordering but upon taking the first bite I could understand why the food was stone cold. They had taken the precaution of making extra food to sell and had people out the back preparing even more but with only two sorting out serving customers the wait in the queue and having not managed the hot" food to keep it warm at least it was a poor experience."

Greggs is lovely shop and value for money and excellent service and very helpful staff friendly.

Clearly don't want the business, just had me stood there while they messed about for ages, off to the gosforth pie shop instead.

Don't bother going for ya dinners you will get it at teatime... it took 3 to open a oven door while egnoring to customers it's bad. Go to spuds and co. Get service right away. Greggs is a proper waster of time...

Friendly staff, good location and clean. Coffee is as good if not better than other street coffee shops, but less than half the price. Bacon roll and coffee is very good value before 11am. Mince pies are to die for.
