O2 Shop Morpeth

Absolutely ridiculous. I went in because I need a new SIM contract. I needed to go in because I was confused online and it would’ve taken a member of staff 2 minutes to sort it out. There was 3 members of staff but only 1 could do sales for some reason. Then there was an hour queue for this person (I was number 4). An hour of sitting and waiting I return to ask if I could finally be seen only to find they have closed the store for a break with no idea what time they’ll be back. I left in anger as that was an hour wasted for nothing.

Popped in here had a lovely young girl explain & answer our questions she was very helpful

Stunned to find out this shop has not only been selling multiple devices and contracts to an 83 year old pensioner with significant memory issues , but has also been adding bolt ons for hotspots and god knows what else .. and charging this person to show them how to use their devices ....which the poor soul can't remember from one day to the next.Shameful exploitation

I stood for almost 20 minutes at the counter just to collect a phone , which in the end took less than 60 seconds to hand over after checking my IDGranted they were fairly busy and I did get acknowledgment from one member of staff eventually but maybe get your staffing levels correct or use some initiativeThe manager was clearly not happy about me having to speak up to get sorted after getting frustrated or particularly pleasant either afterwards

All the Staff friendly and helpful. Being an OAP who doesn't understand technology they put you at your ease straightaway

Went in to help my girlfriend reduce her bill. Found out the contract she got last year was a 3 year contract even though she doesn't remember any mention of a 3 year contract (which she got from this store a year ago). So even though we paid the remaining contract to be free of it the guy tells us she's never used more than 10 gig of data then instantly offers us the exact same contract again with 150 gig of data for the same price... er no thank you, so he suggests the next one down (100 gig) and I have to repeat a few times that we only want about a 20 gig contract if she's only using 10. Twists his face at that and denies he's trying to upsell when I pull him for it.In the end we get a 30 gig contract as its supposedly the smallest they do. When we get home and my partner checks her email she finds that the new c9ntract has a free perk that she can choose. Nothing was said about that from the member of staff so just as well she read it fully. Left feeling like the member of staff wasn't listening and tried to only sell the highest possible tariff even though he knew it was not what we wanted or needed. Felt like he had zero interest in helping us. Definitely wouldn't go back again.
