Would highly recommend. I found Mr Karagama very reassuring, professional, and knowledgeable. Was recommended Mr Karagama by another ENT surgeon for a specific and specialised ENT procedure, should I require it in the future. Mr Karagama was thorough, attentive and very caring, and instilled much needed confidence and peace of mind. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Karagama.

Meeting Dr Karagama was a life changing experience. As a person who suffered a higher-pitched voice than usual I didn’t think there’s much can be done to change this, but Dr. Karagama gave me hope. I was offered not 1 but 2 types of procedures that could help, and I picked the one called Relaxation Thyroplasty. I was explained that this one is less invasive and its results can be reversed. The surgery lasted for a bit longer than 2 hours, and due to local anaesthetics it went pretty much painlessly, and I was released home the next day. However for a few following days the pain in my throat was pretty strong, but I was prescribed with painkillers that I eventually stopped taking about a week after the surgery. 2 weeks from the surgery my voice recovered, and I could not be happier with the result! My voice pitch went down almost twice, which was a massive boost to my confidence. My next concern was that I am going to have a big scar on my neck, and here Dr. Karagama showed his professionalism again, because the wound healed extremely well, and a half year later the scar was almost invisible. To promote healing I only used anti-scarring gel and castor oil. It was red for a first few months but then redness faded away and now people hardly can see the scar even from very close. I am very thankful for Dr. Karagama great results, and I can highly recommend his services!

I have a hearing problem with tinnitus , a constant hissing in my ears. I also need micro suction on a regular basis. I have had the best experience with Mr Karagama, very friendly and professional. I really dislike having micro suction but he has made me less nervous. I definitely would not think of going to see anyone else after seeing him.. Please don't hesitate making an appointment with him if you are having problems, you won't regret it....

Mr Karagama was absolutely lovely when meeting him. I had constant ringing in my ears which was so distracting and causing lack of concentration. He was very thorough, kind and caring. He very quickly knew the problem and helped me with some medication. I have since not experience this again. Would 100% recommend.

Mr Karagama, without exaggeration, has changed my life. After years of misdiagnosis for extreme bloating and discomfort, despite telling ENT and Gastro specialists I could not burp, Mr Karagama has been the first person I’ve found who not only paid specific attention to the inability to burp, but could offer a diagnosis of R-CPD (no burp) and treatment! I had the botox injection to the cricopharyngeal muscle under general anaesthetic and now can finally burp. The amount of relief I feel from this procedure has bowled me over, my entire digestive and respiratory systems feel brand new now they are not being impacted by the build up of air, as I can release it - family and friends have even noticed I am more relaxed and happier as a result. Mr Karagama and his team were so professional and warm and helpful at every stage, including every member hospital staff on the day of my procedure. My only wish is for more awareness of this condition and wider availability of the treatment for other sufferers, but I am endlessly thankful to Mr Karagama for his work and truly improving my quality of life.

Dr Karagama has been an absolute life saver for me. I've been suffering my whole life with a whole range of debilitating symptoms and have been misdiagnosed by GPs and other specialists on multiple occasions.Mr Karagama only needed one brief consultation to successfully diagnose me with RCPD. I would highly recommend Dr Karagama.
