Glasgow City Boats Rya Training centre
An excellent tour with the highly knowledgeable and professional driver/guide, Kevin. Well worth the ticket price. We saw where ships were built in the past (my family history) and are being built now, as well as how the city and river are changing. An added bonus is that Kevin knows when to not create wash and drives safely, unlike other cowboys.

I completed the Power Boat level 2 with Glasgow City Boats earlier this month. I can't recommend it enough! It was a fun 2 days including the theory which was interesting. This course is a must have for anyone wanting to head out ont the water.Thank you very much!

Did my PB2 course with them over a weekend, well paced structure with a good mix of theory and practical boat handling. The instructor managed to challenge all participant no matter their previous experience and skill levels whilst maintaining a good teaching pace meaning all content was covered in plenty of time. Fantastic central location also!

Had a great experience at the weekend doing my pb2 course, Magnus was am excellent very patient and very good detail of all aspects of the course, he kept working with us on the water until we reach and achieved the standard he required from us. A very enjoyable course and excellent training I would definitely recommend Glasgow city boats.

Both tutors are very knowledgeable and friendly. Tutors easily taught different levels of student and were able to adapt to individual needs during lessons.I feel 100x more confident on the water with the lessons I've learned here and would recommend anyone who users the water to at least take the powerboat 2, first aid and sea survival courses. It could save a life.Thanks guys and I'll see you again I'm sure

Had an absolutely brilliant experience with Glasgow City Boats doing my RYA Powerboat Level 2. The instructor John was brilliant. It was a 2 day course. The Saturday morning was theory in the classroom getting lots of useful information and becoming familiar with charts, buoys, navigation, weather etc. John made this interesting and engaging with real world knowledge and examples. The next day and a half was on the boat, learning all the basic skills required for boating. Again, this was very good - really engaging and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Glasgow City Boats and this course.

My training with John was more than satisfactory. I definitely think he provided me with the knowledge that I aimed to get. Furthermore, I found that his way of teaching was quite engaging which made it easier for me to have a fuller insight on handling a Powerboat, he was also very keen on answering my questions (and understood where they came from coming from a Green" Deckhand). All of this allowed me to properly learn and expand my skills beyond the basic level. As it that wasn´t enough he also offered to help me review my CV
