I studied with Pat for 3 years and the experience completely transformed my playing. I was inspired to adopt Traditional grip and Pat re-worked my technique from the ground up. He gave me new hands. Ive always been a writer, creating and recording ideas for various projects, and Pat has given me the tools and musical vocabulary to translate my ideas on the drums to greater effect. Shortly after completing the course i decided to start taking regular lessons with him as i found his way of teaching clear and coherent.Throughout the years i spent being taught by Pat we went over some difficult styles of drumming as well as concepts, techniques and even talks of the music industry. I took lessons with Pat privately for two years. Not only did he help me reach my goal in getting work on cruise ships, but he also was a great mentor to me, keeping me on track and focused on each challenge as it came.Since I started taking lessons with Pat, I noticed a huge improvement in my playing.
