I’ve been hammering my bicycles for over 25 years now and used various different businesses for servicing, repairs etc. And I’ve always said it’s the quality of the mechanic that really matters. And Paul is simply the best I’ve ever come across. If it’s the quality of the work on your bike that matters you’ll find nowhere better than this. Competitive pricing and a nice bloke as well.

I first went to 1 Love 2 Wheels as it was near work but was blown away by the service so keep coming back. I always take my bikes here and really trust Paul to be thorough, the bike always comes back riding like new. I just took my Brompton in and to be honest it rides better than it did when I first got it as I think the mechanics there rushed it when putting it together.Really friendly guy and his workshop is really cool. I like how he's clearly a passionate cyclist and mechanic and I like how you can just send him a text to arrange a time to come in. It's both casual and incredibly professional at the same time. In a world of big businesses and chains that don't really care it's a real pleasure dealing with highly skilled and enthusiastic individuals.I couldn't recommend enough.

Best bike service I’ve ever had in 25 years. I often do my own basic service and take it in to get professionally done about every 3-5 years when I’ll get more major things done chain and maybe gears. Paul was great, clearly a labour of love. His shop is a vision to behold everything has a place and tricked out with airplane waiting seats, cycling memorabilia and repurposed planters. My bike came out spotlessly clean and fitted better than when I bought new.

Paul at 1Love sorted out my 1996 Orange Clockwork and did a great job of what was more or less a total rebuild. Paul gave me a variety of practical options based on my preferences, sourced all the parts for me, gave me a ton of useful advice and sorted me out for a quality coffee!The workshop is fully equipped with everything, from simple gadgets to change a tire to hi-tec gizmos for building the first bicycle on the moon!Many thanks

Highly recommend this guy. He was able to see me at short notice to look at my squeaking breaks. Everything you can want: polite, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. It's obvious he knows what he is doing and been around bikes for many years.I have no hesitation in recommending you bring your bike here. I certainly will be back and now consider myself a regular customer. 5 stars! Outstanding.

Puncture on the way home from work. Called at 7:15pm and Paul kindly waited for me to walk 25 minutes from Deptford so he could mend my puncture! Excellent service, great mechanic and kind too. Thanks.

Already one week ago...Best help I could get for my beautifull bicycle.Mechanic and owner Paul, who has heart for his job, beautifull stories and great coffee!!It was a bliss really.. we both only got better by it.Hope to meet again!!

I have never been addressed in such a rudely matter in my life over the phone until this occasion. My boyfriend and I happened to be around the area with a bike to repair and thought it would be good to drop by the place. Rang the door bell and noone answered and instructions shown on the door were not very clear for first timers. So I rang the number, I can only assume the owner picked up. I asked if there was any availability to have a look at the bike as we were passing by, he was surprised and said usually this would be done on an appointment basis. Nowhere is this stated on Google or Instagram page. He was instantly annoyed and he said he was nearby and was able to look at the bike if we waited for 15mins. I needed to ask my boyfriend what he wanted to do and to ask him to answer any questions since it was his bike. This took some 'time' to make a decision or give answers. Told him we would wait and to take your time, don't worry. He proceeded to rudely tell me about how long it's taken to make a decision etc as if we're wasting his time after we decided. As a potential customer or anyone wanting to use the service, one should not be treated like this. I don't think he is accommodating for sudden show ups at the store.

The man Paul here is very helpful , went in with my e bike and had a buckled / bent front wheel . He explained everything to me which was very helpful and is genuinely a great person , even offered me water . Took no time to replace and wasn’t overly expensive. Definitely recommend , plus love his workplace/work space it was beautiful and very welcoming.
