Mario has been outstanding the whole way through. I had a Maserati Grand cabrio that for some reason unknown the engine gave up. Mario helped me through the whole process from start to finish. He gave me the best advice with what to do. He ended fitting a 2nd hand engine and the speed and cost at which he did it was outstanding. If you have a Maserati and you want the best advice/work then look no further than Autoshield... you will not be disappointed and there prices are also the best around!Many thanks again

Marios and Autoshield have looked after my Granturismo for many years. Excellent service and knowledge. Work was always completed to my satisfaction. On a number of occasions I have asked others to quote for simple jobs (Brake shoes) and they have been unable to do the work.You have to accept its an Italian Super car and parts do cost more . At least you know that Marios and his team have the knowledge to complete the work without paying Dealer labour rates!! DON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!

Advertised engine enhancements , super chip no less. £100 fitted drove 200 miles to find a 1950 burger bar, final bill £380 and 4 hour fitting. EPROM chip pull out push in 5 seconds. Waste gate upgrade to suite included. Called super chip after fitting and they don't supply and never did?. Called to see what was going on and never got a reply. Got the boost checked at a local Motorsport company to find the waste gate springs older than Father Time and boost @ 6 psi not 12 as standard due to heat and age. Never looked at or touched as they are sealed units. Oh and they kept the origional chip too. Turns out the motorsport company were so intrigued as to what they put in the car Chip wise they searched the data base and found the chip was standard but to a 24 valve car and not an 18, just put in more fuel. Nice touch!!.I must also add this, Marios called the workshop and said about checking the cambelt. It was serviced by them only 6 months previously by the last owner. OK! if the print is still on the belt it's fine?. If you have a car sat for 5 years the print will still be on the belt but it won't be OK.I ordered a gasket and a week later was told it wasn't sent but we didn't charge your card?. (Obviously after I called). So no gasket and no common decency.Laughably I was told if I change my old fuel pump to a new and more powerful one it will damage the fuel pipes. So injection systems don't have a bypass and return to the fuel tank. 6That's when I knew something was wrong and never went back. I did have a call though, marious saw the brake upgrade that was done. How could he not?. It was posted in the members magazine. Personal call!!. Can you give me the brake caliper information and engineers drawings on the mountings?. No, no, and no. In every way no! If money really makes you that way, you should refrain. I'd turn the burger bar into one, sorry your office. Didn't get an answer about the chip Marios, I even saw you at Goodwood and had not one iota of guilt. 4 hrs to fit a chip that's naughty mate. You took me because of the waste gate's. I knew the chip was pull out push in. You win. I can't really tell you what you are, why would I. You already know. I just hope somebody reads this and thinks about it. I've still got the bill for £380, sorting out the boost system?. You couldn't fry a burger in your burger joint. Sorry Autoshields office.

I took my Gran Turismo to Autoshield for a various repairs, one of which was a vibration at low revs, I showed the mechanic the issue and left the car. I was told the issue was with the engine was due to parts/valves that needed replacing. After a £4,000.00 bill (for all the work), I was told the problem was solved. I picked the car up and the problem was still there, I spoke to Mario who said he’d personally checked the car and it was solved, he agreed to have another look at I, so I drove from Huddersfield to Manchester again, showed Mario the issue and he agreed there was a fault. I caught the train home again and three weeks later got a call from Mario saying the problem was solved, it was the engine mountings and the vibration was gone. He assured me 100% the car was fixed, I paid another £800.00, got the car home and the car has the same issue. Very, very disappointed that I’ve spent all this money to have professionals with decades of experience to solve a problem, and the same professionals are happy to give cars back to customers after spending a lot of money with the same fault. I would not trust Autoshield again.
