Old Kirk

Me pregunto con genuina tristeza: ¿por qué construir un recinto tan grande" para realizar actos religiosos si nunca se verá ni medianamente lleno dicho lugar?"

Interesting shaped turret on the east side of the Church, looks part fortification. Building looks like in phase of redevelopment, unsure of it's future usage. In the graveyard it seems to be Thomson's on one side, Scotts in the middle, and Tulloch's on the Kirk side.Not much to see really, but hopefully they get this building back into use for some community or tourism site.

La chiesa dell'inizio del 1800 è a pianta rettangolare con un grazioso campanile quadrato merlato probabilmente del 1906. Le condizioni attuali non sono ottime si vedono ponteggi che sorreggono la struttura ed anche una finestra. Non si capisce se è in corso di ristrutturazione o solamente mantengono alcuni parti pericolanti. Il cimitero vecchio tutto attorno ha alcune lapidi pericolanti mentre altre sono state decapitate. Si trova accanto ad Hollande House e all'aereoporto. All'interno la porta era chiusa. Dalla stradina sterrata accanto attraversando il cancello si entra in un cimitero più recente.

Lovely place, people are very nice. It's just a bit chilly and a tough walk.
