Came here for the dance part of the Bournemouth Music Competitions Festival. Great facilities. Feels really far from Bournemouth. Average of 40 minutes from BH1.

They will only care about your wellbeing if your from a good background, otherwise all they care about is getting high grades out of you. The COMPLEAT disregard for mental health was shameful, my Dad had just died when I started, no support for that despite my sister asking them multiple times. During my time here I started to really struggle with OCD alot, probably due to finding out new things about my Dad after he died and from the stress of high-school, it is worth noting that most illnesses tend to peak at this age due to the stress of schooling anyway. I had no idea what was happening, I thought I was just crazy and when I finally worked up the courage to ask for help I was told oh wow that's weird

Best thing that ever happened to my child! They used to struggle very badly with bullying and mental health but now the schools upped their game and really put him back on track!

No mental health support in place. This school wants to cater for the well off and high achieving students - they have no interest in supporting any pupils who need extra support. Ended up removing my daughter as they left her wandering the school in tears on several occasions, not allowing her to sit in a room/library/office to regain her composure.

gone downhill since mrs boyes became headteacher imo. lazy teachers who really couldn't care less about your mental wellbeing and don't actually find the time to support you if you're struggling academically- the countless amount of times my child has been promised teachers would go over things with them and then not actually done this. the lack of revision sessions for year 13 a level students this year has been appalling.

So much pressure from this school to apply to uni and get in tens of thousands of pounds of debt just so it looks good for this awful school absolutely disgusting. Students here really are numbers for this school. Teachers have numerical targets to be met not to help kids

A very unfriendly feel towards the young people. Everything feels like they are just number. A cold highly computerised information system to keep parents informed. Very limited break times to actually be able to socialise. The developing a well rounded individual is sideline for pure exam results. If you have the option to secure a place in another secondary school for your young person, my recommendation is to follow it up. Unfortunately it is too late to move our son.

one of the worst schools ever, full of toxic people. letting people get away for doing inappropriate things because their parents are rich

Poor mental health support and Send. Trusts are a law to themselves and kids and parents really suffer when there is poor leadership and understanding of kids needs. So glad to have left QE and the WAT. There is no accountability to kids or parents for poor practices. A toxic culture created around academic results, inconsistent and harsh practices, with no room for nurturing and opportunities for personal development for my children. This school has not been the best place for my children and I wouldn’t recommend it. They didn’t want to listen if your children are struggling and it has cost us all as a family both mentally and financially.

Zero support for mental health, I really don't recommend if your child needs any help both academically and mentally as faculty do not try at all.
