Picked up my McQueen scarf to find all the gold metallic skulls gone from the material, ended up with a plain green scarf, the owner is not taking responsibility for this very expensive item which was perfect when put in for cleaning.I have had other McQueen scarfs cleaned here & all was fine with them, but now that something has drastically gone wrong, he is refusing to take responsibility for the damage. so don't take your expensive items here!

Disappointed after having used this cleaner for years on a weekly basis spending considerable money each month with no issues, had two items of expensive clothing ruined and the owner made me feel as though it was somehow my fault and / or problem and suggested I find another dry cleaner. How dare he? I will, happily.

Brought in an expensive wool coat for regular dry cleaning (no alterations). They added new creases/pleats that totally changed the style of the coat. The actual cleaning was ok, but found a few dog/ cat hairs.

I find it incredibly sexist that a dry cleaners would charge me more than double for a white womens shirt, than a white mens shirt. I’ve been using this dry cleaners for over a year however he’s trying to charge me £4.50 per shirt for a plain cotton womens shirt, but only £2 for my husbands. Same style, same material, smaller size. Not using a service where I am charged more simply for being female. Refused to charge me the same for the same service.

Friendly, fair and oh so reliable! Been going here for 7+ years for my dry cleaning and tailoring. I once got a dress shirt back with a cracked button, I raised it with him and he promptly replaced it, no haggling and no questions asked. That is rare in London and not something you'll get from a high-street cleaners. Have also never lost a single item in those 7 years. Can't say the same for another nearby cleaner. Frankly, I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Very disappointed, last time I used them they hemmed my trousers for £10. I asked them to hem a dress this morning, said I needed to by tomorrow if possible. He didn’t mention it would be extra. When I checked the receipt he charged me £28, to hem an unlined dress. Then tried to claim the price had gone up because of inflation.

After using this dry cleaners on a weekly basis for a couple of years they have managed to ruin a number of items. As these items were not that new, I was not too bothered about it and just left it. A couple of week’s ago I brought in a brand new white shirt to be cleaned. When I got home from having collected it I thought there have been a mix up as the shirt I had was beige. Upon looking closely I was devastated to realise the shirt I had worn once had been ruined. I went and told the owner immediately, and after having a frustrated conversation where he refused to admit the shirt was no longer white, I went and bought the same shirt and brought it back to the owner so he could see the dramatic difference between the two shirts. He finally admitted the shirt colour was not the same however the maximum compensation you will ever get is ten times the price of cleaning the item. So basically I received £40 for a shirt that cost £100 on the sale! the worst part is that he told me it was not the first time an item of clothing I left to his care had been damaged so that I should maybe find another dry cleaning service as in it was my fault their service is substandard. NEVER AGAIN!

Terrible ironing standard. ALL of my shirts I have had to have re-ironed elsewhere. Some I doubt were ironed at all.
