Fantastic service. My Cat stayed for around 2 months. She was well looked after and loved while we couldn't be with her. Ira couldn't do enough to help. Highly recommended

I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Howgrave Lodge Cattery. So much thought has gone into the design...it really is a luxury hotel for cats! There are so many extra comforts including individual radiators, window view to the outside world and even a comfy chair and rug.My cat, Charlie, is a regular visitor and settles immediately. I think he is thoroughly spoiled by Ira and I know I can have peace of mind when I leave him with her. Thank you so much Ira.Pat Sutcliffe

My cat was a resident for several days and it was his first time anywhere without me. I was initially (and remain) very impressed with the cattery and Ira. My cat looked very well when I returned to pick him up. I was a bit nervous about leaving him but Ira has a lovely manner and it was really nice to meet someone with both a passion for cats and knowledge of them and their needs. I would have no hesitation to place my cat there again. He had an indoor chalet and seems to have been very happy with that as he could sit in his box on the shelf and watch the bird life in the hedge he could see from the window. He could get out of sight if he wanted. When I came to collect him he was fast asleep, always a good sign.

We recently booked our cats, Pepper and Lynx in for 3 nights after having Ira highly recommended, it was the first time our cats had been in a cattery and I was so nervous and worried but Ira was so lovely and kind and reassuring, answered all my questions and made me feel so at ease. When we got there to drop them off I felt even more relaxed about it all seeing how relaxed the other cats were! We were able to take things from home to help them both. We knew Lynx would struggle most as he’s very timid but he did ok and Pepper was absolutely fine after a day or so! Ira kindly sent updates via WhatsApp as well. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Ira again and know our cats are so well looked after and safe when we are away which is all that we wanted. Would highly recommend, thank you! Xx

My wife Vicky was apprehensive as our cats had never stayed in a cattery. We could not be happier having found Ira and Howgrave Cattery. Poppy & Penny have stayed twice now in a shared room with an outside area. Regular updates and photos are a nice touch. We can't speak highly enough of Ira and we thoroughly recomend Howgrave Cattery.

Our cat, Jinx, stayed here recently for a week whilst we were away. It was our first time leaving him, so naturally we (especially the children) were anxious about the entire experience. We really shouldn’t have worried. The service was absolutely faultless. The owners immediately put us at ease and made Jinx comfortable. During the course of our holiday, we received a couple of regular updates and photographs of Jinx enjoying his break. The children were absolutely delighted with this, such a personal touch.Couldn’t recommend enough. So deserving of the 5 stars.

We can highly recommend Howgrave Lodge Cattery. Ira is a lovely host and takes great care of her guests. We will definitely be booking Oscar in again for his holiday next year.

Ira’s cattery is fantastic! The main consideration is that an owner will be kind to our cat and Ira has that in abundance.....the cattery is spotless and we know Celia will be well looked after and be totally safe......We have recommended everyone to Ira’s cattery, but don’t want her to get full up so she can’t accommodate Celia! Thanks for everything Ira.....The Bradings and especially Celia!
