Freebird Campers

We had such a fun weekend with Ruby. Rob and Tammy have literally thought of everything to make hiring her an enjoyable experience. She is spotless and has been looked after immaculately. The bed is comfortable for 2 adults (we didn’t use the roof bed) and the sink, fridge and gas hob all work well. Everything is explained in writing before the pick up and again in detail on the handover. Rob is extremely knowledgable about his vans, therefore amazing at thoroughly explaining all you need to know. Be prepared to drive slowly up the hills and don’t rush anywhere, just enjoy it and you will love Ruby ❤️

As soon as my husband and I clapped eyes on Monty, we were in love! Like all the Classic VW Campervans offered by Rob and Tammy ( Freebird Campers ), he was immaculate - beautifully restored in every way! We had the most amazing weekend - Monty drove like a dream and was excellent for our camping adventure.We would thoroughly recommend Freebird Campers. Rob and Tammy clearly know everything there is to know about VW Campers and were warm and welcoming to us. They were even happy to hear about all our adventures upon our return!

We booked Monty very last minute due to our holiday abroad being cancelled, and had a lovely week touring Devon and Cornwall. The process of booking was an absolute breeze and Rob provided a cracking handover meaning we drove off in confidence ready to enjoy our last minute holiday. We had a lovely week, Monty the camper was an absolute joy to drive and spend time in. Thank you Rob and Tammy for saving the day - we had a lovely holiday!

I purchased a voucher as a gift for my husband's birthday last year! Rob and Tammy are brilliant at communicating from start to finish and nothing is too much trouble. We finally got to take our first ever trip in a VW Camper when we took Campo away in May this year and it exceeded all of our expectations with the clear attention to detail that they have put in!This is a small business that always puts the Customer first so you will never be disappointed.We loved the fact that the vehicle provides all the modern needs of today whilst maintaining its Retro feel making it a very comfortable stay. We would not hesitate in recommending using Freebird campers - it was such an amazing experience.

A fantastic service, on our doorstep! Rob is clearly a VW van enthusiast and it shows in the great condition (exterior and interior) of the vans. We had such a fun time in Cornwall with Monty - we decided to hire the van as it was our wedding weekend; we felt like we certainly celebrated in style. We hired Bob for the week and had a fantastic time exploring Devon and Cornwall. A super high-spec VW Camper with some excellent finishing touches. Everything was easy to use, with plenty of USB sockets and lights. From early booking to pick-up and final handover, Rob & Tammy were fantastic – very easy to speak to deal with and had all the details under control. Myself and my wife had a fantastic 4 days in North Devon and Dorset in Monty (GREEN T2). It had always been a bucket list thing to do and when we saw how good the Camper Vans looked at Feeebird we didn't hesitate to get in touch.Rob and Tammy were fantastic from the first email, great communications and so friendly and enthusiastic about their business and our trip, we can't thank them enough.Monty was superb to drive, very well equipped and we were the envy of other van drivers as we passed them and exchanged hellos.
