Just wanted to say a big thank you to Stu and the staff at Scala. Our Wednesday and Thursday snooker teams played the full 2022/23 season here whilst our club at Greenalls was being refurbished. They couldn't do enough for us and the tables and conditions were excellent. Atmosphere was great and friendly . Highly recommended

Large area no problem cueing, good number of tables however quite run down and some serious damage to tables. Limited drinks at bar and expensive rates given the quality of the site. 6 pound per hour plus visitors fee is probably the going rate but I would like to see more repairs instead of tape holding rests and pockets together. Managers a little odd but seems ok. I would only recommend if you can see past the many flaws. If your a non smoker then get a table away from the doors as people smoke in the stair well. Hope this is a honest reflection of the place
