Awful business logic…. Not reliable. They booked out ALL the cars in Swindon at the same time on the same day so I couldn’t book a car. No warning! Absolutely appalling response when trying to raise a complaint. They simply said they have to clean the cars! One of the said cars is brand new and has only done 300 miles. Apparently I’m the only person that has driven that car and it’s spotless! Don’t be fooled into thinking this is an alternative as it will let you down.

Zero stars, I applied for memberships weeks a few weeks ago but nothing happened. Sending emails/using chat is pointless as no one replies. It’s a joke!

I've enjoyed using Co-wheels over the last few years, picking up from multiple spots in central Bristol and love having the ability to drive fully electric vehicles (as well as hybrids and petrol cars). You can book way in advance, or last-minute, and it works out much cheaper than a traditional car hire when using for a day or less.There has been the odd issue here and there but support has always resolved them promptly. The cars are in pretty good condition and the EVs usually have a good charge percentage. Would recommend!

Awful, they do not store information about the cars. I have asked if the car had satnav as sometime ago I rented a car with them and did not have it, I thought it was one-off. I used my phone instead but it was dangerous as there was not holder or place to put the phone. I asked them this evening to check if the car I booked had satnav and they said they do not store that information. If they do not store that simple data! image what information they might miss like maintenance and safety!!

Unreliable, Overpriced Misleading fees and charges: My ppointing Experience with Co Wheels I an absolutely terrible experience with Co Wheels.ently signed up for Co Wheels and was shocked by the amount of fees they rge. Not only did I have to pay a steep registration fee, but their membership fees re also exorbitant. I felt like I was being nickel and dimed at every turn. To make tters worse, I had trouble booking a car when I needed one. The available cars re either booked or too far away, making it difficult for me to access the service I as paying for. First of all, the car I rented was not clean when I received it. It was›vious that it hadn't been properly cleaned or maintained in a while. On top of that, e car had a flat tyre leaving me stranded for hours with no help or support from the ompany. When I called customer service to report the issue, they were completely responsive and didn't seem to care about my situation.When I tried to cancel my membership and get a refund for the fees I had paid, I was net with resistance from their customer service team. They refused to give me a full refund and were very unhelpful. Overall, I would not recommend Co Wheels to anyone. Their fees are way too high and their service is unreliable.

There are some negative reviews on here but I've never had any trouble with Co-wheels, apart from the time the previous person didn't bother returning the car, and dumped it miles away. Co-wheels found me another car and I was able to carry on as needed.Very useful for someone who has gone carless - I recommend.

Joined Co Wheels because I like that they are a social enterprise and our family occasionally require two cars at the same time. We also drive an EV and don't want to drive a petrol car in and out of Oxford or any city / town and like that there are electric cars available.Booked the electric i3 by my house two weeks in advance and had the booking cancelled after a week without notice and a petrol car a 30 mins walk from my house booked instead - no communication about why. Then had no response from customer services for 4 days.Really poor experience and illustrates why people won't switch away from private cars just yet.

Used these services extensively from 2016-2018. Absolutely fantastic. Customer service always great and the cars were never a bother.
