I booked a trip with Andy for a half-day fishing trip and to explore the lighthouse. It was an absolutely amazing experience. My wife and 2 teenage kids loved it. We caught a lot of mackerel and a few other species, learnt about navigation at sea and very interesting facts about Eddystone lighthouse. The day ended so beautifully by being surrounded by a huge shoal of bluefin tuna. A truly memorable day out, highly recommended!

An amazing day out at sea for the whole family!! Highly recommended. Andy was brilliant with the kids (10 and 14), myself and my husband (all newby/amateur anglers!), we caught a LOT, learned a lot and had a fantastic fun experience aboard the Patricia Rose! Seeing the blue fin Tuna racing was a spectacle to remember!! Thank you Andy! We will be back.

We had a fantastic fishing trip with Andy and Mark aboard Patricia Rose. It has been the highlight of our trip to Plymouth!Andy had been outstanding from the very beginning when I reached out to him with various queries and he was always available to respond.All fishing equipment was provided which was great (as we are beginners) and Andy and Mark looked after us the entire time and guided us along the way. They explained to us the various fishing techniques and we were impressed with their knowledge of fishing and fish species.Apart from the fishing, the trip out at sea was fantastic - we enjoyed very calm waters and saw some wonderful sights - Eddystone lighthouse, lots of birds, a seal and a gorgeous sunset!We felt very welcome and have every intention to return for more fishing trips with Andy.Thank you so much for looking after us so well!

We had a fantastic fishing trip with Andy on the Patricia Rose. Andy’s experience and knowledge of the fishing grounds gave us a great trip and plentiful catch. First trip this year with Andy. Very helpful. Pity we had easterly winds. We caught some good fish despite the easterly. And a good bit of grub from Andy as well. Would definitely recommend.

We had a magical morning out with Andy and Trish on Patricia Rose, exploring Plymouth Sound and swimming off the boat. We were really impressed by their knowledge and by their care for our safety at all times. We had huge fun swimming off the boat at Drake's Island and near Pier Cellars at Kingsand/Cawsand. Andy and Trish were brilliant hosts. Thoroughly recommend.

Top notch skipper and boat. Nothing too much trouble and highly knowledgeable on marks, techniques and local fauna and flora. Caters for all ages and great with novices. Very highly recommended.

A huge thank you to Andy and Trish for a magical day out at sea! We had a smooth trip out to the Eddystone Lighthouse with some great commentary about Plymouth and its naval history. The children (and adults!) were delighted to catch some mackerel, whiting, pollack and other fish for dinner that night. It was a fantastic family day out made fun for everybody thanks to Andy and Trish’s knowledge, patience and good humour! We’ll be back!!

Excellent fishing day for me and my son. Good fishing with 9 species caught on the day. Max pulled up a 34lb conger, not bad for his second trip ever. Great service from Andy and Trish.
