I was served by Matt and he was insane!! Great conversations in and off the bar and really brings the life to the pub. If you come here make sure Matt is working!!!!

Hardworking friendly staff, dealing with loud rude customers in a professional manner. They were really understaffed and couldn't have done more. Food was good, and reasonable in price .

Went for Sunday roast with my parents. Has a good selection of food at a very good price. The pub feels a bit run down however everyone was really friendly and accommodating to my Mum who is in a wheel chair. They also have a lot of TVs if you like sport. The beef was on the well done in terms of cooking but nice. I really liked the roast potatoes which were crispy. Also the Cauliflower cheese and broccoli were good. The Brussel sprouts were a bit soft for my liking. So based on price and quality I would push to a 4.

Nice to find a pub which serves food on a Monday. The senior menu was much appreciated by members of the group with small appetites. Furniture could do with a refurb but that would probably increase prices.

Staff were lovely, place itself was OK. Ants near the windows so clearly needed a bit of a clean but was empty enough in there to just move.But ... but.... The food was out in like 4 minutes which isn't a good thing, anything that takes that little to cook is clearly something just reheated.Some parts of the Sunday lunch were OK and tasty enough but others not - e.g meat was good, but vegetables tasted as if they'd been out in the Sahara Desert for the last year.Shame - other reviews of the food had me wanting to come in the first place!

Great pub for something to eat and a few drinks. Staff are all very accommodating, especially the general manager. Will definitely be going back
