Hired a kilt outfit for prom at beginning of June and 3 kilt outfits for a wedding on 1st July, cannot rate these guys highly enough, having to alter sizes and fits due to comfort/growth was no issue, quickly switched and altered on premises. Kilts annd anccessories were immaculate. Expertise and knowledge is excellent, made to feel comfortable during every visit. Highly recommend the House of Argyll!

I can not speak highly enough of House of Argyll. Experts in their field, I was made to feel welcome and looked after. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and they went above and beyond to make sure I had eveything I needed and felt comfortable and confident. The whole process from begining to end was a pure delight and they made my trip to Scotland and the experience of hiring a kilt that so much more special. My husband and I used the services of House of Argyll for our wedding in June 2023. They were a great help!! We had two different orders from them. The groom and groomsmen were all measured and kitted out for the day. And then another order for the brides side of family. My two young nephews really enjoyed wearing there kilts. They had a great choice of kilts that could be worn. Highly recommend this company to anyone!!

I’ve used House of Argyll several times since 2006 when they outfitted my wedding party up to last week when my son and I got full outfits for my nieces wedding. On every occasion they have been outstanding both in terms of customer service, friendliness, competitive pricing and quality of outfits rented. Our full outfits drew many compliments from people with their own outfits last week and rightly so as the quality of ours was clearly top tier and, thanks to Stuart’s time, effort and diligence in measuring, fitting etc, fitted us like they were bespoke to us. Highly recommended!

Great service and friendly staff.We were coming in from overseas for a family wedding and hired kilts for myself and my son. We measured ourselves and sent off the form. We got an email suggesting the measurements may be slightly out and offered alternatives. We went with the suggestions and when we arrived to pick up the order it was suggested we try on the outfits just to be sure. Some small alterations were required and were done on the spot. I got the impression that even if major changes were required, the team would have took them in their stride with minimum fuss.The communication from the team convinced me that every booking is treated as a priority and not just business as usual.Would highly recommend and will definitely use again.

Absolutely fantastic! House of Argyll could not have been any more helpful. I contacted them several times in the lead up to the hire, with my many questions. They were even happy for me to post back the kilt rather than drop it off after the wedding. As a novice, I was shown how everything should be worn. And the quality of the outfit was exceptional. They even posted back my cufflinks when I accidentally left them on the shift.Could not recommend any higher!Thank you very much!

I bought my second bespoke made to measure kilt in my family tartan 10 years on from my first kilt which is still perfect but, I’ve got a little bigger, and my new kilt is perfect, I’m so so happy with it.
