Access for Students DSA Needs Assessment Centre - Salisbury

Any anxieties or concerns I had were quickly put to ease. I feel much more positive now about what options and accommodations I have whilst studying at university. The assessor I had was incredibly helpful and very easy to talk to, making every effort to understand my needs!

Charlotte was so helpful. She talked through and explained everything well and made some really great recommendations. She also made me feel safe to talk openly about the things I have been struggling with. It's rare to find someone so reassuring and so easy to talk to, especially when it comes to discussing mental illness. I honestly feel so lucky to have gotten such a great assessor/adviser.

I had a great experience today with Charlotte. She was friendly and very knowledgeable. All my questions were answered and I feel very satisfied after the meeting.

Charlotte was brilliant! Very clear and understanding. She knew the ins and outs of all of the support options and was more than happy to answer any questions that I had. Words can’t quite cover the fantastic level of service she provided.

Had my assesment with an assesor name Amy George. I was quite nervous beforehand as Iv'e had assesments before which were quite unpleasnt.This couldn't of been more different though, I was immeadiately put at ease by the assesor who explained it was more like an informal chat than an assesment and she was very friendly and informal yet professional througout.The assesor explored every area of concern for me and guided me through the whole thing. Litterally all of my issues came up through the questions she asked.I've been quite anxious about how I'm going to do my course due to the limitations of my disability, but since the assesment I feel far more confident and relaxed.Feel lucky to of had the assessor I did, she seemed very knowledgeable about conditions like mine and all the services/equipment that she recommended, I'm really grateful to her for the job she did.

I have have just had my assessment and I can honestly say that it has helped and reassured me so much. I never knew that there was so much targeted support available. Charlotte dealt with me so sensitively giving me time to explain how my condition impacts me and came up with some brilliant options which should make studying so much easier. I was nervous about today but I now feel really empowered and ready to embark upon my course. It really isn't as daunting as it might seem! It was really good to be listened to and given some practical solutions. Thank you so very much.

Very friendly assessor who was knowledgeable and put me at ease. I’m very grateful everything has been sent in an email promptly after as I felt a bit swamped with information! My brains fault not the assessor!
