A chair from a set of six, of an obsolete style, suffered a broken back in 2 places. Paul achieved an outstanding repair without any visible traces.An excellent, high quality craftsman, with skills not readily found in todays times.

Paul made a special one-off mahogany cabinet for us, consisting of four glass shelves with glass-pane doors, and three wood drawers underneath, to fit into an archway. He did the detailed design himself, in accordance with our outline measurements and express wishes. It was a tricky job, especially fashioning the doors, but the end product was exactly what we needed and looks magnificent. I recommend him highly.

Paul kindly restored two items for us. First a long case Georgian oak clock. We handed him a case that was black and damaged beyond normal wear and tear. He did a great job as the clock's wood could be appreciated for the first time in I guess decades. Whilst its journey was still visible, the necessary repair work was done and he even uncovered fret work previously hidden. The second item was a Georgian cake table which was in a sorry state with water damage to the top and some physical damage about the edges. When Paul returned the table we just couldn't believe it was our table. His work is outstanding and we highly recommended him.
